The Simple Woman Daybook - July 21

Hi everyone, come on in and see what's in my daybook!

If you want to join in, just got visit Peggy over at The Simple Woman, read the guidelines here and then add your name to Mr Linky. There are so many other participants sharing their day, I'm sure you'll enjoy looking through them :)

FOR TODAY

Outside my Window
...scattered clouds from the thunderstorms we've had the past two days, my backyard lawn needing to be mowed and the pugs laying out on the patio enjoying the cooler temps.

I am thinking...that I hope I''m able to reinstall Windows, my computer gave me the "Blue Screen of Death" last night and it's broken. I've lost all my stuff and it's frustrating.

I am thankful for...having 2 more computers in the house and being able to get all my work done

From the kitchen...tonight is Salisbury Steak with noodles and some portuguese rice pudding for dessert

I am creating...absolutely nothing today, just working on fixing the computer

I am going... nowhere today, I have way too much laundry to iron

I am wearing...summer pj's, pink shorts and tank top

I am reading...Fame by Karen Kingsbury

I am hoping...I can save all the date on my hard drive, it's amazing how much of your life you have on those little machines and when they're gone you feel lost

I am hearing... the kids video game on the tv, the coffee machine brewing and the birds outside

Around the house...library books needing to be returned, floors needing to be mopped

One of my favorite things...taking the kids to the park and watching them

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... Library program on thursday, starting my exercise program again, I need to loose the last 10 lbs and they're not budging

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...since I'm on hubby's computer, I don't have any of my photos available to post, but here's one from my post on saturday, I took the kids to the base aircraft static display, they had a blast and it was an inexpensive way of having fun

I've been so overwhelmed with "BUSY"...it's good to stop by and see how "BUSY" others are as well. I'm so going to make the rice pudding recipe again today...I love it! You are awesome as always. Blessings, LeAnn

Oh no, your computer crashed? Girl, you have my utmost sympathy. My laptop died (hardware) a few weeks ago and I was without it for almost three weeks. Then I had to reload and rebuild most of it. I hope you can save all of your data too and that you don't have any problems getting it all back. Sending you good computer vibes :)

I really enjoyed the Firstborn series by Karen Kingsbury. I'm ready for her to finish the Sunrise series. I like to wait until she finishes so I can get them all without having to wait in between :)

Have fun at the library and enjoy the cooler temps. It's about 100 here right now, ugh. I'm so grateful for air conditioning!!!

Have a great week :)

I can relate to your computer problems. Ours crashed a while back. I can relate to your concern over your plants. I too am not much of an indoor gardner. I usually forget the poor things. My grandparents gave me 2 indoor plants and I'm determined to keep them "safe". Have a great day.

Thank you so much for commenting on my daybook -- it's so much fun to be meeting other Christian women though blogging. Good luck with your computers! They are so helpful and sometimes so much work!

I just got the blue screen of death at WORK this week and I'm afraid I've lost my QuickBooks account from 7 years. Ugh.
