{Wildlife World Zoo AND 31 Days of Prayer}

Last year around April we took the kids to the Wildlife World Zoo but even though we enjoyed it, there were some things that were a little annoying....the heat for one and the fact that we wore flip flops and didn't realize that pretty much the whole park was dirt.....AND we forgot the wagon so after 10 minutes the kids were tired of walking and we had no place to put our jackets and drinks and whatnot. Lesson Learned!

This morning, we got up and decided to head back to the zoo, because we love the animals and because they just opened a new Aquarium AND because both kids have free entrance tickets for the next 6 or 7 times they may go.

It's cloudy and it's a little nippy and I personally think it's the perfect time to enjoy the zoo, so we grabbed the camera, the wagon, a couple of jackets and off we went. It was perfect and we had a blast and if you haven't checked out the new Aquarium, you really should.

Here's just a few of the pics I took, I got a little carried away and ended up snapping a photo of anything that moved, which in a busy place like that is absolutely ridiculous LOL

Curt and the kids inside the aquarium

Mommy and the kids

Feeding the ducks and swans

Petting zoo, as soon as we walked in the animals flocked to Nicholas and one of the deer started eating his shirt LOL

Balloon Fish

One of the best features from the aquarium is the fact that they have a Touch and Feel area where the kids are allowed to touch Sting ray's, Starfish, Anemone's etc. It was a LOT of fun for them.

Poisonous Tree Frog

My favorite, upside down Jellyfish

LOVE swans, they look so beautiful and they're almost making a heart with their necks

Dwarf Crocodile

Porcupines

We got to feed the giraffes too and that was just hilarious, it was our first time. They just stick their tongues WAY out and wait for you to drop the pellets on it.

All in all, it was a lot of fun. A bit on the expensive side though EVEN with the free admission for the kids.....but well worth it.

{ 31 Days of Prayer for my Husband } - Day 7

I feel that behind every wonderful blogging woman I have come to know, there is an amazing man, they are the ones working in the background. The ones providing for our families, fixing what is broken around the house, giving us a hug when we're down, listening to our bad days, putting up with the constant flashing of cameras in their eyes (admit it, you tote that camera around just as much as I do LOL).

So I think they need to be recognized and admired and acknowledged for the wonderful husbands they are and what better way to do that, than to devote a whole month of prayer to them. Will you join me?

Embark with me on a journey for the next 31 Days, in which we devote ourselves to prayer for our husbands.

Day 7

Pray that your husband will safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationships with the opposite sex. Pray that his heart will be pure and undivided in his commitment to you. (Prov. 6:23-24, 26; Rom. 13:14)

Proverbs 6:23-24

23For he commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light;
And reproofs for discipline are the way of life

24To keep you from the evil woman,
From the smooth tongue of the adulteress.

Proverbs 6:26 (New American Standard Bible)

26
For on account of a harlot one is reduced to a loaf of bread,
And an adulteress hunts for the precious life.

Romans 13:14 (New American Standard Bible)

14But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

I'm the same way at the zoo and aquarium, taking pictures of everything that moves no matter how many times I've been there! Looks like a great day and a nice zoo!

The photographs are beautiful. Looks like you had a fantastic day.

BTW, I've copied your video idea and video'd my accent...I was going to do 'any questions' too, but maybe I'll do that next week some time.

Love and hugs

Continuing to pray for my hubby. The zoo is amazing and I think that days on the cooler side are the very best time to go.
