Happy Homemaker Monday

hhm

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Still getting cold mornings and warm afternoons. I really don't like it, would rather it be cold or hot, not both LOL

One of my simple pleasures:
Sleeping in

On my bedside table:
A Love to Last Forever by Tracie Peterson - Almost done with it, loving the book
Couple books from library and one to review for you all

On my TV:
Stargate SG1 Season 9
Living with the Dead

On the menu for tonight:
Chicken Curry

On my To Do List:
Laundry
Sweep and Mop floors
Dust
Ironing

New Recipe I tried last week:
Baked Cheese and Ham Sandwiches

In the craft basket:
Granny Square blanket

Looking forward to:
Getting back on track with my weight loss, I was doing so good and then this weekend fell off the wagon. Too much junk food and laying around.

Homemaking Tip for this week:
I got nothing today, maybe I'll think of something later and come and edit LOL

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
No blog reading last week, I'll have to catch up today.

Favorite photo from last week:

Lesson learned the past few days:
Not to be so hard on myself. I was so upset earlier this morning when I realized I had actually gained weight over the weekend, but I had to remind myself that it's ok, I'm not perfect and the weight loss journey is never without a little hiccup here and there.

It's far to easy to criticize ourselves rather than think positively all the time.

On my Prayer List:
Family and Friends

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

It is so easy to be hard on ourselves, I think we are more spurred on to action when we are positive.

Happy Monday to you!

We are most often our own harshest critic. I guess, that makes us strive so hard to do better when all others are accepting and even proud of what we do when we are disappointed....Go figure....
You have a good week and try to relax on you!

That pic of the pie looks wonderful. I'm assuming it's lemon from your tree?

I apologize that I listed my link twice. The first one linked up with one of my past posts for some reason.

Tracie Peterson is a good author.

The pie is one of my favorite pictures too.

I'm joining you on the weight loss adventure. There was a candy bar calling my name over the weekend and once I ate that It was all over.
