Happy Fall!!!

Oh the joyous fall season is officially upon us, and I couldn't be happier.

I know, it's not really the same living here in Arizona.  We don't get to enjoy the fall season as we used to in Idaho or even in any other northern State.  I *could* drive two hours up north to see something reminiscent of fall, but, it's not always possible.

I don't think it will stop me from enjoying every second though.  Hardest part of making belief?   The triple digits we're still enduring.

Goodness gracious, it is enough already.  At this point I would be perfectly happy with a 90 degree temperature, that for me would be cool enough.

Anyway, how did you all spend your first day of fall?

Did you dive right in to decorations, did you head to the kitchen and pull out anything pumpkiny (just go with it lol)??

I started with some fall decorating, then realized that I really don't have much in the way of fall decorations, other than Halloween.  Oh boy, I guess I need to scrounge up some fallish stuff for my home.

I couldn't start any baking either because for once in my life, I have no pumpkin in my pantry.  I don't even know how that is possible because I always have a can or two or three, but nope, nothing.  Darnit.

We did spend a semi quiet day I guess....breakfast started with some pecan pancakes drizzled in berry syrup and with a dollop of whipped cream, and to wash it down hubby and I enjoyed some Cinnamon Spice coffee.

Ran an errand with the family, came home and worked a little on the yards and ended off the day watching the sun setting over the mountains.

I'm always amazed at how beautifully stunning the sky is at sunset.

Now I'm going to sit down with my crochet, watch something on TV and relax. I'm thinking tomorrow will be a day of much the same, except with loads of laundry thrown in and some homeschooling catch up too. Oh well, it's the joys of life right???

Have a great evening everyone.

PS  By the way, I really immensely dislike the new blogger format.  Why did they change it, I was so happy with the way things were, this new way of posting is already giving me headaches.

Your sunset is gorgeous - but the temps don't sound good!
I'm working on blog posts right now and am fighting the new format too. I don't know why they always have to mess with things!

What a great way to ring in fall. I was going to put up our fall decorations today, but my dear friend called to see if I wanted to help her paint her bathroom and bedroom. (she knows I love to paint rooms). So I loaded up the kids to go play with her kids while we painted.

I'll dust off the decorations tomorrow.

oh no, hearing lots of not-so-good things about blogger right now :( I have just copied my entire blog over to word press (not because I didn't like Blogger but because some horrible things happened with my blog and I'm trying to remain a little more anonymous!).

Anyway, my blog is now

Come visit me some time - I just posted about our first fall fun day as well! :)

I just need to say a BIG 'thank you' to all of you, but especially Sandra and Conny (just followed you). It's like God knows when I am really stressed (facing the possibility of eviction right now) and sends me messages telling me 1) other people are going through this too and 2) it will be alright, just have some faith.

Beautiful sunset. I would totally miss the fall if I couldn't have it. It was a beautiful weekend here, hotter than usual, but nothing close to you guys, but hot for us at this time. We were in Calgary for the day shopping for lights and trying out a restaurant that was on the Canadian version of the show Diners, Dive Ins Drives called You Gotta Eat Here. Not very fallish but fun nontheless.
