Whew, back at it!11:59 AM
To begin, thank you all so much for the prayers, this past week hasn't been easy.
I have never been one to have patience for being sick. It's funny actually, because I have friends who say they don't mind when they're sick because they get a chance to relax and do nothing LOL
Not me. I seem to have this aversion to sickness of any kind, matter of fact it downright annoys me. I don't have the patience to lay around and it bugs me to no end knowing that I can't do the dishes or cook or take care of the house.
So it wasn't easy.
But I am well on my way to recovery, I can finally hold down food, I'm no longer dehydrated and weak, and my body doesn't feel like it was hit by a semi-truck. Thank the Lord and thank YOU all for the prayers.
Boy have I missed my little blog and visiting everyone.
I almost felt like a fish out of water this week. I have grown so used to coming here daily and chatting and sharing photos and visiting that sometimes I forget just how much I love my blog until I'm forced to do without.
But, I'm back :) And I didn't get many photos taken this week but here's just a few :)
5AM....this is where I start my days.
a little coffee break.....
The first few Christmas cakes have been baked and now it's all about feeding them for the next few weeks and shipping some off to family and friends.
We were blessed with some rain this week.....
5PM and it got really dark in the house due to the rain, but it's these moments that I enjoy the most, I love hearing the rain outside and feeling the warmth of the candles inside.....
Some morning baking I did today, this one is for another Lucky Leaf Pie Filling review and giveaway coming up this afternoon, but I'll give you all the link later :)
It's time for homeschooling, so I'm off to gather my children and their books. It's still cloudy here and looking like the perfect winter day so we'll be doing school in the living room, on the couches :)
Hope you are all doing well and thank you for taking some time out of your day to come and visit me, I really appreciate all your comments and thoughts.
