So much going on....

I've been busy, and doing things and thinking and making decisions and paying off bills and the such.

Which hasn't left me much time to visit anyone, so I have no idea what you all have been up to, but hopefully I can come around and see everyone soon.  Maybe tomorrow, maybe this weekend but definitely by next week as we will be on Spring Break.

I'm tired, and I'm sitting here typing this post with my fingers killing me, because hubby and I just spent the last two hours pulling weeds in our back yard.

I loathe those things, they are everywhere, honestly these yards on this base are pathetic.  If it's not overrun by weeds, it's overrun by moles, there's just no way of having a good looking yard, but we try and we keep at it.  Sometimes feels like a losing battle, but unfortunately if we don't keep at it we have housing banging on our door and writing us up for discrepancies.  *sigh*

Aside from the not so fun things, we have finally gotten our tax return which for the first time EVER, took us almost a month to see.  We always count on our tax return to pay off bills, every year we pick one and pay it completely and I can now say that our AAFES (military exchange store) is paid off.  Whew!!!!

Next on the list, our one credit card.  Boy, those interest fees kill you.

Anyway, here is a look at my day through the lens of my camera.

My celery is almost ready to get planted with the rest of the vegetables, just want it to get a few inches taller before I move it.

Love chickens, so when I found these guys at the dollar store, I knew I had to bring them home with me.

I mentioned the new show Lightfields on ITV.  It's really good and I'm enjoying it.  I also promised that I would bring you links to watch online, and so, here is the second episode: (It's also been added to the Period Drama List)

And lastly, I just wanted to pass along to all those that want to lose weight but don't like going to the gym or would prefer to work out at home, you should check out the Zumba Fitness for the Wii.  It is fantastic.

So much fun, I did 110 minutes today without even realizing that I was exercising and burned 700 calories.  Yay!

I've never liked exercise, matter of fact I cringed when I thought about it, but now I'm just loving doing the Zumba, and I think a lot of you would enjoy it too :)

Alrighty, I think that is all I wanted to talk about.  I'm feeling a little off, messing with weeds always gets my allergies going, so I've taken some meds and I feel them starting to take effect, which is my cue to leave :)

God Bless,

Congrats on getting a bill paid off with your taxes, we are using ours this year to pay Dr bills for hubby, not much fun but better than debt right! Ha Beautiful photo's from around the house as always

Uh, yes, pulling weeds. The never-ending warm-weather chore. Don't I know it! Strangely, I kind of like pulling weeds. But I have to admit I'm rather sick of it by the end of summer! I love the little roosters! So cute! And thanks for the wii zumba tip. I'm actually going to look into that. I really don't like exercising unless it's out jogging or walking. But since I live in PA, a good portion of the year is cold, dreary and snowy and working out in the basement is a drag. I've done Zumba before. My sister is a Zumba instructor, but I can't afford a gym membership. But I think I could probably swing the amount a wii Zumba disc costs!

It's always a great feeling to pay off those pesky bills! I've tried Zumba before, but just couldn't get into it. Now I'm doing Les Mills Combat which is more to my liking. I love kickboxing workouts. :)
