Slow Cooking Thursday - 08/21/2014

Good morning, here we are Thursday and ready for another recipe.

Today, I'm sharing a crockpot roast that is s delicious, your whole family will enjoy.  As Fall starts coming nearer, I am collecting all my slow cooking recipes to share with you.

Some you will find already posted here, others I am re making either because they're missing my own photo, or were taken with my very old camera.  Either way, this Fall we'll have a lot of slow cooked meals, and who doesn't like that on a cold day?

Awesome Slow Cooked Pot Roast

1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water

1. In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.
2. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.

Yum! I love crock pot roasts!! I have a similar recipe that uses cream of mushroom soup and the mushroom soup makes the most wonderful gravy!
