I have found, as I've gotten older, that I really can't eat much of anything late at night. And by late, that has moved back to about 9 PM for me. We were out with some friends a couple of weeks ago and time got away from us - we ended up not eating dinner (at a restaurant, big portions) until about 9:30. I don't think I slept more than an hour at a time the entire night. My tummy ached and I was kicking myself for eating that late. And it wasn't chili, so I can just imagine how you felt!

Great pictures and a wonderful post. I liked The Nanny Diaries too, but I think I liked the book better (funny how that always happens!). My grass looks yellow or brown in late summer, it's just too hot here and no rain. And I have a tree suffering too, something is eating on it and there's brown spots on most of the leaves. So you're not alone!

Hope you had a great weekend and will have a wonderful upcoming week :)Stacy at Exceedingly Mundanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10193142015462051142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-86963764752147777602008-07-14T10:09:00.000-05:002008-07-14T10:09:00.000-05:00I couldn't help but laugh a little at your chilli ...I couldn't help but laugh a little at your chilli encounter. Hope your tummy settles soon.

Your lemon tree feels the same as you sounds like. :v(
Why don't you take some of the leaves into a garden or tree nursery. Sometimes they can pinpoint the problem from that and tell you what to do.

Lol to your finding the book on your shelf. Sounds like you need to get to your TBR shelf. LOL. I'm totally the same way. I haven't a clue what I've got in my basket anymore there's so many books in there. So... I did what had to be done!

I got sneaky! -gigggles-

OK, now is it ok to giggle at you, poor Dear... and your nigh on to midnight chili raid? Noooo, you still don't feel good and it's not ok to giggle at you.

Poor Dear! I understand, especially how something like that, can set you nearly against a food. But don't let it. Please don't let it mess with your love of chili.

Just be wise the next time. Maybe put a big sign on top of the container of left-over chili in the frig. Reminding you to NOT repeat. Even if sorely tempted to do so.

Gentle hugs, so as not to upset your tummy more,
Miss Mari-Nancismilnsighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17207943167502354530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-77208708008855410832008-07-13T16:20:00.000-05:002008-07-13T16:20:00.000-05:00Ohhh I'm first!
