You all know how much I love Lori Wick and especially her English Garden Series. Well, I don't need my books anymore and they're in really good condition, pretty much new, so I thought I would pass it along to someone else.
So this is what I'm giving away:
In the first book of Lori Wick's new English Garden series, lifelong bachelor William Jennings finds himself guardian of a distant relative's son. In over his head, William goes to his sister for refuge and advice and meets Marianne, who turns his beliefs about women and God upside down!
In a strange turn of events, an accidental fall from a ladder into a stranger's arms leads to hastily arranged, but fake, wedding between Anne and Robert Weston. As they struggle with this odd situation, their admiration for each other grows. Could a real marriage cure the heartache caused by a false one?
When Londoner Alexander Tate is thrown from his horse, his vision that suffers most. After placing patches over his eyes in hopes that rest will restore his sight, the doctor recommends that Tate leave the city to convalesce in the fresh air of the country. Tate's aunt Harriet offers to go with him to Collingbourne, where she meets the Steele family. Warm and caring, the Steele siblings are surprisingly generous to the newcomers. Tate doesn't need his vision to know that when this family reaches out, the unexpected is bound to happen. And happen it does when Tate finds himself falling in love. Just one question remains. Will one of the beautiful Steele sisters love him in return?
Edward Steele is at last on his way home and determined to be in Collingbourne before Christmas—but that was before he met Denley and Osborne.
Sailing from Africa to England, Edward meets these two very different men aboard ship. Osborne chooses to ignore everyone while Denley and Edward find themselves much together. But as their journey continues, Denley begins to feel unwell. By the time the ship stops in Lisbon, Portugal, he is very sick indeed.
Not able to ignore his traveling companion’s plight, Edward abandons his goal of going home and disembarks with Denley and Osborne. He never dreams that his association with them will lead to the mysterious Nicola Bettencourt, a woman who captivates and confounds him in equal measures.
So there you go....the whole English Garden Series.. I'm not going to get all technical with the like some blogs do, I'm not going to make you run all over and advertise and link and whatnot....I just ask that if you enter the giveaway you give the books a good home and not trash them.
I will leave this up until Sunday Night and announce the winner on Monday morning, so if you're entering please make sure you leave me a comment and a way to contact you, if you don't have a blog, just leave an email address or something.Good Luck!

I would give those books a very loving home...my daddy was a elementary school librarian & he passed his love of books to me. One of my favorite things is to read a new book. I read fast & don't get books often so I've read my library over many times.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!
Alane

Such a nice giveaway, Sandra. I'd love to be entered for this set.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for not setting out a whole list of things we have to do to qualify. I agree with you. A giveaway should be just that - a giveaway, not a linking marathon. LOL
By the way, I hope you guys are all feeling better. You've had a rough winter!
I've never read her books, but would love the chance to. They sound interesting. Please enter my name in the drawing.

ReplyDeleteHugs and love

what a great idea, giving away books to share them with others!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't read any of them, unless you demanded I do it--lol. I'm really more of a sci-fi and fantasy type. :|
But it is a delightful idea, and if all my books weren't e-books I'd do the same thing!
