He's so special (he's mentally challenged) and we love the precious time we get to spend with him. ;) Taking this whole week off from blogging to give him true time and attention.

So happy to hear your Gram is doing better!! Will continue prayers for the days ahead and hope she gets settled okay.

Can't wait to see your Fall scarf when it's done. ;)
Blessings on the rest of your week dear Friend. xoxocarrie@northwoods scrapbookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16337824046780952876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-14777365835263439862015-10-05T18:08:07.047-05:002015-10-05T18:08:07.047-05:00I'm on a facebook break. other than my group ...I'm on a facebook break. other than my group app, pages app, and messenger (business use) I've not been on my "timeline" for a week. I have not missed it at all. I hope I can keep it up. So much less stress. Have a super great week!

Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16607527454796749102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-17329462386183806902015-10-05T16:22:47.781-05:002015-10-05T16:22:47.781-05:00I hope that you have a good week and that your fam...I hope that you have a good week and that your family can get the care organised for your grandmother. It will take a while to get it all settled, but it will come in time! xxAmy at love made my homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111180584250029433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-82293259133085203342015-10-05T12:43:08.591-05:002015-10-05T12:43:08.591-05:00I'm sure all those decisions for your Grandmot...I'm sure all those decisions for your Grandmother must be so stressful for you and your family.
Lemon Meringue Pie sounds delightful! I'm not brave enough to try that yet...
A new fall scarf sounds like the perfect project for some rainy weather.
As far as facebook, though I kept my account, I pretty much didn't log on for nearly a year after my mom passed away. While there were many who reached out to me immediately after she died, once all the 'drama' wore off (i.e. a week later), there was such silence that it helped me to realize that social media 'friends' can never replace those physically nearest and dearest to me.
Hope you have a peaceful week even with all that's going on with your family at the moment. :)Laura {a spoonful of joy}https://www.blogger.com/profile/15857929083073436273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-73396846501782409482015-10-05T12:08:18.724-05:002015-10-05T12:08:18.724-05:00It's been cool in the high 60's here but o...It's been cool in the high 60's here but over cast & drizzling for about a week. We need dry weather so bad so we can start shaking trees and harvesting.
That pie sounds sooooo good with a cup of coffee or just a fork! Lol!
I quit Facebook in 2012 & in July opened the Instagram account. I really like it but I am being very careful about who I accept on there. I do not want any drama...I would blog again if I had reliable internet. I'm glad you still blog & I love your Instagram posts.

Thank God yall are having to find home care for your Grandma...im so happy for yall. I know it's still stressful for you and the family but read those Psalms & Proverbs and keep praying. So many of us out here are praying with you! Praying for your grandmot...Your view is gorgeous!!!
Praying for your grandmother. Those choices can be so hard to make. Praying, praying, praying!
Facebook is a blessing and a curse...Joanna Unbehaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14725288854499873291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-8991712064211050242015-10-05T11:23:25.166-05:002015-10-05T11:23:25.166-05:00LOVE LOVE that picture!
Also LOVE LOVE that insp...LOVE LOVE that picture!

Also LOVE LOVE that inspiration!

While I know there are so many things to be decided about your grandmother, that's great news that she is going home She is proof that the power of prayer DOES work.

Also LOVE LOVE your lesson learned. It really touched me this week especially with what our community is going through here with the campus shooting. The community connection and outreach has been so beautiful and overwhelming and being done person to person instead of primarily on social media.threesidesofcrazyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03680623585443980958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271473.post-79947936955100039342015-10-05T10:37:37.632-05:002015-10-05T10:37:37.632-05:00I agree with you on Facebook. I have been thinking...I agree with you on Facebook. I have been thinking of taking a break from it as well. I'm so mentally and emotionally exhausted from most social media anymore. Other than keeping in touch with very close friends or family I don't see much point in it anymore because people are so negative and honestly hurtful at times. The world is just so negative and unhappy anymore it's unbelievable! I hope things improve.
A friend of mine and her family are actually doing a 30 day challenge to see what their life is like after "unplugging" from social media for one month straight! No twitter, no Facebook, etc. I thought about trying it myself. She will still blog and Instagram because she uses her blog as a source of added income and to promote her etsy shop, but everything else is off limits. So far she is two weeks in and she said it's wonderful. They have more time as a family, and she has found she has more time not only to get things done but personal time as well to herself.

I'm so happy to hear your grandmother is doing better! The miracle of prayer is so wonderful and amazing. :)

I hope you have a great week ahead! Enjoy the fall weather! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03342075232547380195noreply@blogger.com
