Welcome to my weekly Crockpot Recipes Exchange. It's such a great way to share your favorite dishes or to learn some new ones to make for your family.
I'm doing things a little different today, I decided to give you two recipes instead of one....if anyone wants to share more than one, they are welcome to do it.
2 to 2-1/2 pounds boneless beef round steak
1 to 2 envelopes dry onion soup mix
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup water
Cut steak into six serving size pieces; place in a 3-qt. slow cooker.
Combine the soup mix, soup and water; pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with mashed potatoes.
Yielf: 6 servings
1 can (21 ounces) cherry or apple filling
1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, optional
Place pie filling in a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter(mixture will be crumbly); sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Serve in bowls.
Yield: 10-12 servings.

Oh, that dessert dish sounds wonderful! I can almost smell and taste it now. Add a little vanilla ice cream on top....
