I'm off to the doctors!
That neck/shoulder muscle pain is just not going away so I'm off to the doctors this morning.
Please say a prayer that it's in fact just a pulled muscle and not something more that would require surgery or anything....last thing I need is that before my trip to Africa in a few weeks.
Will let you all know how it goes when I return.
Blessings,
UPDATE: I just got back from the doctors, it is indeed a muscle sprain so he prescribed muscle relaxants and pain medication for it. He also told me to go out and buy a heating pad and use it too. The problem is that I pulled the muscle while sleeping but then aggravated it by doing the move, then the rides at the carnival and then the wii LOL So, now it's time to heal up, he said it should take another week or so for this to completely heal up.
Thank you all for the prayers, I'm thankful that even though it's painful, it's not something that will require surgery. Now I just have to pray for a quick recovery from it so that I can enjoy my trip to Africa :)
So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Hope everything goes well for you at the doctor.
ReplyDeletePrayers are out my friend!
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers dear friend. Keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra. Saying a prayer right now!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon..saying a prayer as we speak.
ReplyDeletePraying you feel better and you get some answers.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is nothing ! or rather ... something that will fix itself !!
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI will be praying that you won't have to have any kind of surgery. I am praying that it will be just a pulled muscle from when yall moved. I read your post about the movie, "Home of the Brave". It sounds like a really good movie. I am not in the Military, but have had relatives that have been in the Military and I HIGHLY RESPECT each and every Military Personnel who is and has served our Country. I have much RESPECT for them as well. I do kind of know how fighting in a war makes some people have problems. I had an Uncle that served in Vietnam and at times I think he had actually lost his mind. He was my Mom's Brother and he would call her sometimes and talk to her. I had a cousin last year that had served in Operation Desert Storm and he committed suicide. It's such a sad way for our Military Personnel to have to defend our Country and then have problems of their own when they do get to come home. Looks like your Lemon Tree is really putting out the Lemons. I sure would love to have a big tall glass of homemade lemonade. My mouth is watering now. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I am so glad that it wasn't anything that required surgery. Maybe the Lord was trying to get you to rest a little because now you'll have to have a little R&R to recuperate.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for you! I've pulled my back out a few times and it's not a nice feeling.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is that it does eventually relax. Honestly. You just may not feel like it now!
