I have some hot cinnamon coffee for us and some fresh out of the oven English Scones....ahhhh.
We had a quiet day yesterday, just ran a few errands but by 11 am we were back home for the day which allowed me to make a run to the library for some new books. I'm a visual person, a lot of the things that I love in life have to do with the way I see things, the appeal of it etc. When I pick books I tend to go for the ones that have an eye catching cover and I know that's not fair because there are some amazing ones with simpler covers, but what can I do, my eyes usually dictate what to get.

Castles of England, Scotland & Wales
America's Amish Country - This one was so much fun to look through, what gorgeous photos it had.
Now for some pictures, I haven't posted any recent ones of the kids and I'm sure the family is dying to see.

Now let me tell you about this great link I found. You can change your wallpaper for the computer everyday but it's not just ordinary wallpaper, this one has a Daily Thought on it.
My sunday is going to be spent doing laundry and ironing and I'm also going to be baking some Savory Cheese and Scallion Scones, they are to die for and I think they'll go great with our dinner of Lemon and Oregano Pork Chops. I'll have the recipe for the scones up on the food blog later :)
I'll leave you now with some Sunday Linkies, some of my favorite blogs and sites from the last week.
♥ A Year From Oak Cottage - What can I say about Marie other than I absolutely love her and the blog? The past week my family has been enjoying recipes from her site and boy are they good. But Marie is not just about recipes, this amazing lady lives in an English Cottage and she shares such beautiful photos along with touching posts about family and friends. You should go over and take a look, I'm sure you'll be there for a while browsing her archives.
♥ White O'Morn Cottage - Another wonderful lady living in a cottage but this one is set in beautiful Ireland. Imagine that?
♥ The Old Painted Cottage - I just love this blog, from it's pink and white theme to the beautiful photos shared by the author.
♥ Honey Hill Farm - Absolutely adore this blog, don't even know what else to tell you other than you should go look and stay a while, I'm sure you'll find something to make you smile.
♥ Eyes of Wonder - Oh how I love this blog, I wish she would update more but she's one busy lady and such a loving Christian woman. The photos she shares and her words just inspire me.
♥ Daisy Cottage - Just another beautiful blog to look through, pretty photos and great recipes.
