The Simple Woman's Daybook!

Hi everyone, come on in and see what's in my daybook!

If you want to join in, just got visit Peggy over at The Simple Woman, read the guidelines here and then add your name to Mr Linky. There are so many other participants sharing their day, I'm sure you'll enjoy looking through them :)

FOR TODAY
Outside my Window...
the sun is shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky. There's a cool breeze outside and it feels just wonderful.

I am thinking...
that time just flies by. It feels like it was Friday just yesterday and now here we are, Monday again.

From the learning rooms...
I watched the Most Haunted 7 hour Live Event from Gettysburg and LOVED it. I'm now going back and researching and learning as much as I can about the battle and what happened.

I am thankful for...
this cooler weather that seems to be around. You all know I'm in Arizona and we've still had upper 90's weather, so this feels great.

From the kitchen...
For breakfast it will be leftover Pumpkin Pancakes, for lunch will be Cheese and Ham Quesadillas. Dinner will be Portuguese Pork Chops and Potatoes.

I am wearing...
white tank top and blue shorts, slippers

I am reading...
The Schoolhouse Brides by by Yvonne Lehman (Author), Colleen L. Reece (Author), Wanda E. Brunstetter (Author), JoAnn A. Grote (Author)

I am hoping...
to get all my housework done today, whenever there's a long weekend it seems a tornado has come by to visit. So I have a load of laundry going right now, the dishwasher is running and after breakfast I'll get the floors swept and mopped.

I am creating...
a Home Binder thanks to my sweet friend Eden. I got the ideas and all the forms from her.

I am hearing...
The washers going, Nicholas playing in the back yard.

Around the house...
craziness and chaos waiting to be cleaned and organized.

One of my favorite things...
talking to my grandmother on the phone, she's always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters and I love her to death.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
Grocery shopping on Wednesday and Saturday we have some errands to run.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Lions at the Kruger National Park, nothing like seeing these up close and personal.

  4. It's in the 60's here today! Eve was convinced it was going to snow...! I had to laugh because in Vermont this day would have felt warm!! It's all perspective :)

    Happy Monday to you!

  6. I can't believe how hot it still is over there! We've been dipping down below 0*F last week. It was nice on the weekend but now it's super windy outside. Shorts and tank tops are a long gone thing now.

  10. Why is it that a long weekend can create so much extra chaos so quickly? I hope you enjoyed yours anyway :)
