♥One thing I do in my car, is to put dryer sheets under the seats. They are an inexpensive way to deodorize the car and keep it smelling clean and fresh.♥

Judith Gibson - Time for Tea

♥A lot of you have asked me how I manage to do so much and still have time to read or relax. The answer is....I don't waste a single minute of my day. While something is in the oven with the timer on, I will usually fold laundry OR do dishes. Or if I'm about to iron and am waiting for the iron to heat up, I'll do a quick sweep of the kitchen, or organize the paperwork on the counter. I never just sit unless I'm completely done with everything.♥

♥If you're making rice for dinner, make some extra. Freeze in one-cup serving containers and it's handy to reheat later in the week for a quick lunch or dinner.♥

♥To keep my cutting boards smelling fresh, I rub them thoroughly with lemon wedges. Pays to have that lemon tree out back LOL♥

  1. I love your multi-task attitude. I've been doing it so long I don't know how to do just 1 thing at a time LOL. I envy you that lemon tree!

  4. Hi Sandra, I love your blog. I've found your post very clever and smart. I like the dryer sheet in the car, I use them in other ways too. I've been looking for a recipe that you posted some time ago and I can't seem to find it. It is Slow Cooker Cabbage Rolls. If you wouldn't mind I think my family needs to try it....thank you, Kae

  7. Dryer sheets are a wonderful air freshner.. I wrap them in the cloth items I'm making to sell in my store and remove them before shipping.. smells a lot better then the chemical smell fabric's tend to have.
My mom use to wipe down the kitchen and fridge each time she washed dishes.. she always had spotless appliances that way.

  10. I have a small air freshener from glade on the vents in my car, but I should try the dryer sheet, it'd be cheaper.
