Don't forget to add your name to Mr Linky and a link back to your SCT post so others can come by and see your recipe too.
As always, share your slow cooking recipes but if you REALLY REALLY don't have one and still want to participate, then you can share any kind of recipe.
Crock Pot Hamburger Steak
Jacob C. (United States)1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup milk
1 cup bread crumbs
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
3 teaspoons vinegar
3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce (or barbecue sauce)
1 cup catsup
In a large bowl, start with the beef and slowly add pepper, celery salt, bread crumbs and milk while mixing (I usually have to use my hands).
When the mixture is homogenous, make 4-5 patties and brown them lightly in a skillet or grill.
In another bowl, mix the brown sugar, vinegar, and sauce (I prefer worcestershire) and catsup.
Pour a layer into the crock pot, but save a little.
Place the patties into the sauce and then cover them with the remaining sauce.
Cover the pot and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
I prefer worcestershire, but barbecue sauce is very good and a little thicker.
That looks so yummy Sandra.
