Brown Sugar Chicken
2 lbs. boneless chicken pieces
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1/4 up lemon lime soda
2-3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
Place chicken pieces in your slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the top of chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with rice.
Yields 4 servings.
I snuck in with a non crockpot dish, but I bet a clever cook could convert it to a slow cooker recipe :-).

The kids have swim lessons 2 night s a week for 7 weeks so I will be slow cooking 2 days a week! Can't wait to try out these recipes.

ReplyDeleteThe chicken was great. I served with Kraft mac n cheese because I spent most of the day outside in the garden. So the crock pot was a great help.

Tomorrow I plan to work on the pots. I set onions out today and planted in the store boughts I had. I will post about the garden soon.
