After getting through that horrible cold, Nicholas is once again sick. He had a high fever last night, and now it's a runny nose and a horrible cough. He has an appointment with the doctor on monday morning, so hopefully we can nip this in the bud once and for all...I'm beyond frustrated at this point.
Haven't had time for much else, I'm thankful that the kids are off next week for Spring Break, we could all use a rest.
So I've spent today cooking and cleaning. Curt is at a Promotions Banquet to attend at work, you know the military way, there's no such thing as rest even on the weekends. My poor husband is exhausted, he didn't get to bed until 4am and then at 9am was getting a call from work asking him to come in because of one of the jets. UGH!
I seem kind of bitter right now, but I'm really not, it's just been one draining day for me and I'm anxiously counting the minutes until he returns home from work so I can climb into bed and relax with my little boy.
For now I'll leave you with a photo of our beautiful sunset and tonight's dinner....hope you're hungry, there's plenty to go around.
Good night!
To my right is this:
And to my left is the beautiful moon. I love the zoom on my new camera, I mean, how neat is that?
I can't believe you have sickness in the house again! Hope it passes soon.

ReplyDeleteBoy I wish I had some of that cake!!!! Sorry about the sickness again! Do they encourage handwashing at school....what about using clorox wipes on the desks & all too? What a shame for the fella to be sick so much. I feel for you too....it wears on a Mama's heart.
ReplyDeleteOh no, not again! The poor little one. I do hope he gets better soon, and that your husband gets some rest as well.
ReplyDeleteThe photos, however, are stunning! And I would pop round in a sec if there wasn't the big blue thing in the way!
Oh Sandra, I'm so sorry the sickies are back again. Seems spring break is coming at a good time. It will be nice for all of you to have a rest !

ReplyDeleteSandra:
ReplyDeletePraying for Nicholas. I don't know why but wanted to share that my Grandson just came home from Iraq to Texas. This week another grandson heads out to Germany to train for deployment to Afghanistan later this summer and my son will be headed to Kuwait in July and his wife will be deploying to Afghanistan in September. This old Gramma is so proud of her babies but worried with them all heading out at the same time.
Have a wonderful Sunday
