It feels like Fall!
It's cloudy, it's dark, it's windy and all I can think about is "well it feels like fall in Arizona".
If the weather isn't a sign, then the pumpkins already at the stores sure is. Oh how I love Fall, the sights and smells, it has to be one of my favorite seasons.
So here I am, on this fall afternoon, sitting at the computer and making a conscious decision to start blogging more, to go back to how it used to be, because things have been so crazy lately and so busy that poor little blog has been neglected.
I've spent some of the morning wiping out the cobwebs and making a new header and also reorganizing my schedule and my life, it's such a jumble of everything and nothing right now, I can't function this way. I need structure people and this disorganized fly by the seat of my pants life is not for the likes of me.
I hope it makes you happy to know that I'll be back to full blogging, or maybe you've been enjoying the little hiatus and not having to endure my babbling and the multiple posts and reviews LOL
Speaking of which, I have a few that I really want to share with you so you'll see them popping up all over the place.
I've tried to get back into my reading schedule too, I've missed books, the feel of the pages and the stories that transport me from my own life to other places, to other times.
I also kinda fell off the bandwagon when it came to watching Little House on the Prairie, I guess the first sign should have been the fact that the same Netflix discs have been sitting in my bedroom for a month or more. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
Let's not even mention the food blog, I'm so disappointed in myself, cooking has also taken a backseat to the crazy schedule, which means, a lot more take out and a lot more pounds being put on. Seriously, I need a wake up call, thankfully I got it this morning.
Nothing major happened, I just sat down with my cup of coffee and took a look at my blog and realized just how much I've missed blogging, how much I've missed sharing my day with you all and visiting your own blogs. I've missed that friendship and quite frankly, I have no one to blame but myself.
Anyway, I think I've babbled enough *snicker*. I'm going to go pull out the fall decorations and have some fun around here, then I'll come by and visit, just like I did last night :)
Sandra,
ReplyDeleteI love the new layout. It's brilliant and it's warm much like the love and friendship I have come to find when I stop by here.
Happy Fall and I look forward to seeing many new posts from you again.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
It looks wonderful over here, I love the header and it all looks great! It sort of feels like fall here too, and believe me, I'm more than ready :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you'll be back to blogging more, I've missed your posts and your recipes :) I also took a long break at the end of the summer, and truthfully, had completely decided to give up blogging. But my husband talked me out of it, so I've been trying to get back into the habit again also. Same with cooking, for a long stretch, I just made easy stuff, things I've made before and wasn't trying a single new recipe. I've also been trying to get over that too :)
Hope you enjoy your day and have a wonderful week coming up!
I really like the new header! Wish my wife and I could take a nice leisurely walk down that road.
ReplyDeleteSite looks great!
She's baaaaaaaaa-ack!! Yeah! Love the new look - and am happy to get to "visit" with you more often.
ReplyDeleteEvery one says Spring is when the world becomes new and fresh- but fall has always been the most vibrant part of the year for me. I tend to get the itch for organization and cozy warmth. I'm thrilled you're back in the bloggy world- can't wait to catch up!

ReplyDeleteI love the new header....I have tried and tried to do something creative with mine....to old, to slow, or something! I'm glad you are back and I'll be stopping by the check in on you often. I've been a slacker myself and I promised myself last week to get it back together! Blessings to you and your family.
