The first thing that caught my eye with this book was the stunning cover.

The reason behind the season.  Pure and simple.  This book reminds us of what Christmas is about and it's a beautiful thing.

If you're thinking it's a very deep and long read, it's not.  It's a short read filled with beautiful colorful graphics and easy enough for my children to read, and read they did.

In this day and age where Christmas seems to be all about the material things and commercialization, it feels good to have a book that simply reminds us of things that we tend to forget about.  The author reminds us of what Joseph, Mary and Jesus went through to make it possible.

Really good book and it's going to become one of our family traditions, we will be reading this book every Christmas day.
