Well hello there, I sure do hope you're all having a fantastic Tuesday.  I think Tuesday's are my favorite day of the week, but only because I have a ton of shows on the telly to enjoy :)

Day 14

We're all doing well, thank you for the emails asking and the prayers and thoughts :)

Nicholas has been having a bit of a hard time, he loves his daddy so much and he's really missing that one on one time.

And since hubby has been gone, we do use Skype but his connection is so bad that we can see each other, very grainy, but can't talk because it breaks up, so we have to type back and forth.  It's great but we do miss hearing each others voices and Nicholas was really missing that.

I was able to call hubby today and even though Nic doesn't like talking on phones, he grabbed it from me and spent 30 minutes just happily blabbing away in his room, he laughed, he joked and it was such joy to hear him so happy :)

So, now I'm going to go back to crocheting and watching my shows.  Don't forget about Dallas tomorrow but I'll try to remind you before hand too.

Have a wonderful night everyone!

  2. I'm in love with your granny square blanket and all of your crocheting really.

I'm sorry Nic is having such a hard time. I can only imagine what it's like there. My husband isn't gone nearly as long as your husband's trip, but I'm having a really hard time with Sydney. She's acting out, but really only when he's gone. Crazy how their minds work...

    Still praying for you all.

Hi Sandra, I wanted to write and let you know that I have been following you for 2-3 years. I have a 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son. Love how you homeschool, crochet, craft and love cooking for your family. My family would like to thank your husband for all that he does. Going to be trying your Lucky Leaf apple sweet. You are a bright light for me as my 12 year old son has cancer and is still battling it since summer of 2010. Thanks for your bright light and crafty ideas. I wish I live close to you so you could teach me. You are a strong person and you make me want to move my self and do crafting instead of sitting around and being depressed with Sam's illness. Thanks again for your bright light.
