She is beautiful, Sandra. Still, growing up brings some painful years as they go through the process. Middle school and high school are seldom the happy, happy years we want to think they are. Being a teenager brings some hard times, but she is blessed to have a family to "stand in the gap".
She does look so much like you. When it comes to looks, I think the middle school years are the hardest. From what I remember for myself, and what my two oldest have been through, we gain some self acceptance at high school age. In the meantime, she has so much going for her, especially two loving parents. I know that they think we parents are just old farts, but she really is a beauty.
She is gorgeous and that hair! The color is amazing, I can only wish....I hope she will come to realize how beautiful she is and how loved sooner than later. I know she will with such a supportive family. Sandra, you are the best momma. Take care.....
I know how much my daughter (the older one!) loves when I focus just on her - taking pics, looking at clothes, watching her do her "art" and other things. I think that makes them feel secure, even if they don't say so - to have unconditional love and sometimes special attention from Mom. We're their biggest fans, anyway! :)
She does look like you! She is beautiful and at such a tender age. I hope all is going well with her. I missed your post on requesting prayer, so know that I'm now praying. Hope you're doing okay as well!
Wow, she is your twin. :) Does she look like your pictures at that age? I hope she is feeling better. With her Daddy coming home she has to have a smile on her face. <3

ReplyDeleteJasmine is really gorgeous, growing into a beautiful young lady.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way I'd want to be her age again. What turmoil, and I did not have a loving supportive mother as she does.
Love and hugs to both of you as you continue on this journey of life.
