Happy Homemaker Monday #32

Happy Monday morning, everyone :)

I hope you had a good weekend.  Mine was super super super busy, but in a good way.  We got a lot of things done, we ate good food, we indulged in yummy desserts and we spent time together, and I think that's all you could really ask for :)

The Weather:::

86 degrees right now.  We did have some rain on Friday night and cloudy skies throughout the day on Saturday, a little thunder but no more rain.  We have beautiful blue skies today, and if the temperature stays as is, it will be wonderful outside :)

On my reading pile:::

Finishing off Book #2 in the Kauffman Amish Bakery Series.  Have been filling my Kindle with all sorts of books and I can tell you that I have far too many, but I'll get around to reading them all I'm sure :)

On my tv:::

On the menu for this week:::

Monday -  Chicken with Green Peppers served with Basmati Rice
Tuesday - Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes
Wednesday -  Texas BBQ Burgers, Tater Tots
Thursday - Chicken and Sausage Ragu
Friday -  Homemade Pizza
Saturday -  Fettucine Alfredo
Sunday  -  Beef Curry

On my to do list:::

Sweep and vacuum and then mop
Clean the kitchen up
Laundy
Prepare the lessons for the kids
Work on a project for outside and one for my kitchen

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::

Nothing at the moment, but I'm throwing around ideas for a new crochet pillow. 

Homemaking Tips:::

Did you know that you can hull strawberries easily, by using a straw????  Just insert the straw from the bottom up and the hull will come right off.

Looking around the house:::

I have snoring pugs around me, it's like a symphony LOL   Children are still in bed.
My husbands Knight in Armor is standing at the corner of my living room and it has scared me a gazillion times already.  He finally built a stand for it and got it all set up, and now I'm freaking out everytime I round the corner of my hallway and that thing is standing there LOL 
Have a living room that has definitely been *lived in* this weekend, so there's glasses and toys and books etc around.

On my prayer list:::

Lots of prayers, I am constantly in prayer during the day, even when I'm on facebook or blogging.   Anytime I see a prayer request, I immediately send it up :)
