Little change
Well aside from the obvious template change. Again!
What can I say, I'm weird like that, I go through many looks until I'm finally happy with one, and that is this one that I have now. I know it's simple, but I think it perfectly mirrors my Jane Austen mood.
See, I am a huge Jane Austen fan. I have all her books, I have all her movies and I have many books inspired by her. In other words....anything that mentions her, her characters or homes in books, I have.
And I often go through these phases where I surround myself in all things Austen.
Reread the books
Rewatch the movies.
Renew my love for this amazing author.
So, that is why the change in template.
The other little change I am changing, is with the 30 Day Challenge. I am not sure if anyone is still following it or not, the truth is that I really don't get many, if any, comments at all on this challenge, and like I explained the other day I feel like it's hindering my blogging posts, so......I've decided not to stop the challenge, but merely to move it to the sidebar.
If you look to the left, right at the top, you can now follow each day's challenge there. :)
Hope that doesn't confuse anyone because it's certainly not my intention..
That's what I wanted to come in and say real quick. Now I'm going to go back to reading, and this is what's on my Kindle:
Deliciously interesting, especially if you've always wondered what it really was like to live in the homes that Austen talks about in her books. Behind Jane Austen's Door by Jennifer Forest.
Have yourselves a fantastic Thursday night, hope you're looking forward to Friday as much as I am :)
I like the new look! It's you. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been following the challenge, but it's hard to comment on without feeling you are repeating yourself. Thanks for doing it!
Your blog is always beautiful. Love the header, background, everything.
ReplyDeleteI love the new look. I especially love the quote at the top. That book looks fantastic, but it's only available in Kindle :( I'm so bummed...I've not yet jumped on the e-book band wagon.
ReplyDeleteLoving the new look and definitely love me some Jane Austen! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour new look is very nice.
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is great.

Your new "look" is very sweet, feminine and pretty! I love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your book! :) And have a great weekend, Sandra!
Oh, and I'm saving the buttermilk bread recipe and going to give it a try! Thanks for sharing it.
Blessings,
Tammy
I am glad you didn't stop the challenge. Although I have not been doing it I know that I can always go back to it. It is me......and I love the encouragement and your ideals. Anyways, that is how I found your site.....The 30 day Prayer for Husbands, although I did it many months after you did it, I completed it and I wrote my prayers down. You are a blessing to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you weren't getting more feedback on the challenge. I checked in when I could and I will definitely keep following on the sidebar. I think it is such a great challenge!

I love this new layout! Everything's very well placed and no wasted space. Looks good!
ReplyDeleteAlso, love the Austen topics here! I'm studying Pride and Prejudice for my college senior thesis and I am falling in love with a book that I've read tons of times all over again. Austen truly was a brilliant writer who observed people ingeniously.
I just LOVE Jane Austen! And I love your great "husband" reminder, for today! My Hubby is finally off from work, this afternoon, and I know I need to put this one into practice! Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love the challenge, I'm still in :)
ReplyDeleteYour new template is wonderful, like all of your templates. I dont know why but I like the sidebar on the right side, it's confusing me to see it on the left and the posts on the right side *lol*
