I had my annual woman's exam yesterday afternoon, and as always, the next day I'm kind of crampy and sore. Just did not feel like doing anything at all.
So I spent Friday surrounded by things that bring me joy, that calm me down, that I can relax with.
Yarn. But of course. Before I show you what I worked on today, let me give you a quick peak at one of my favorite things in my home. My cherry blossom crochet branches.
Took a few moments out back to enjoy the fresh air and take in the first signs of fall
Glorious fall leaves
The rest of the day I spent on my chair, sipping either hot tea or coffee
and this is what I was working on, my mini hexagon pillow.
The front is almost complete and I love making these, they are so quick to crochet and very therapeutic
all that is left is one row and then I have to make the back which is going to be just a simple single or double crochet.
I guess you could say I didn't get much done, but I choose to believe that I got some much needed rest, and made very good progress on the pillow. Sometimes it's all you can handle right?
I love looking at pictures of your home. Your little crocheted things are so pretty.

ReplyDeleteSome days you just have to slow down and take care of yourself. Just important, actually more important then dishes and laundry. :)
