I have always loved living on base. Yes there are a few things that some may not enjoy, but for the most part, it is a blessing and we have access to many great things.
One of my Nicholas' favorite things to do is to head to the Air Park on base, which displays all the static airplanes, and just walk around, or run, or jump, or roll in the grass.
That's what we did yesterday and I, of course, grabbed my camera because the only pictures I have of the park were taken a few years back when we first arrived here at Luke AFB, and they were with my little old camera.
Now, I'll have some great shots to keep forever.
After all these years of being a military wife, I can tell you that I don't tire of airplanes, matter of fact I just love them more and more as time goes by.
He loves jumping from the displays.....kids really do entertain themselves easily don't they?

Kids call this one, the "Captain America" Air plane LOL
Jasmine loves taking photos too, and she grabbed the camera and took a few, and then aimed it at me and took this one. I do love how it turned out because it's just me, what I usually look like, casual, hair up......
She does not however, like having HER picture taken, so she runs from me. I snapped this one as she walked along and the minute she saw the camera she yelled out "Moooooommmmmm, stop" LOL
We're very big on having fun without spending money, so we tend to go on walks, or go to the park, or find places to take drives to where we can enjoy nature and burn some energy without burning through our pockets.
I'll be back later with another post, just to show you what else we did yesterday :)
What a great park to have access to. My kids would love that too- as would I :)
