Good Morning everyone :)
What a fast weekend that was, in the blink of an eye it was gone. On to the next right?
Quick note, I changed one of the categories below from Blog Hopping to What I found while surfing the net. This opens up the possibilities to anything you may want to share, whether it's a new site you found, something you saw pinned on pinterest, a site you love shopping at, etc.
The weather.....
Hot, but this week we are dropping the temps a bit and are supposed to see some rain, or so they say. I highly doubt that part. Here's a look at the rest of the week....
Right now I am....
Trying to fully wake up. Sitting on my couch with my laptop in my lap, still in my pj's and sipping on some Vanilla Bean Coffee.
Thinking....
About Lola. Should be getting a call back from the Vet this morning, with the results of her blood work. Just hoping for some answers.
On my reading pile....
Finished the previous book and just started "Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart" by Beth Pattilo, the second book in the series.
On my TV.....
Aside from Fringe, I have a few shows from the UK to catch up on, some new ones starting, and then the ones I watch with hubby.
What I found while surfing the net....
Some of my favorite blogs are in Europe, and in a different language. But I have found that they have some of the most gorgeous photography and homes I've ever come across, and so I find myself scrolling through their pages, just dumbfounded. Liebesbotschaft is one such blog....drool!

Looking forward to this week....
A week without incidents for Miss Lola. A good phone call from the vet. A productive week of homeschooling as we are about to end this school year and the kids want to push through and get it done with.
Looking around the house....
As always, at this time of the morning my children are still fast asleep. It's just me and the pugs up right now. I've just kissed the hubby goodbye as he headed off to work.
I have dishes in the sink and the kitchen needs to be tidied up and swept. The living room rug needs to be vacuumed and the couches picked up, random pillows, Jasmine's glasses, Nic's laptop etc.
Really need to get the hem done on my living room curtains, put up some new ones but they are ridiculously long and I don't like the pooling effect on the bottom.
From the camera....
On my prayer list.....
Our Lola, that whatever is going on is nothing serious. I would love nothing more than for her to never have another seizure, but I don't think that's quite realistic on my part, so I just pray that it's not often or that it's controllable etc.
My husband, as he continues to wait for his test results, as he continues to go to college to get his Master's and as he compiles his resume and gets ready for the possibility of retiring and finding a job. It's so stressful on us both, but I think extra on him because as the head of the family he wants to do all he can to ensure our children have a good life.
For me, I just ask for the Lord's guiding hand, and for me to remember and really let it sink in that whatever He may think is best for us doesn't necessarily mean it's something I had in mind.
Bible verse, Devotional....
I hope the call from the Vets is a good one!

ReplyDeletePraying for Miss Lola.
ReplyDeleteOne of the hardest things I've had to learn as a wife it to take my husband's lead. So much in my past it's been me doing the leading. Praying for you on this as well.
Your menu always looks so good. I want to come for supper!
Been praying for Lola, hope the vet call is good! We've had our share of health issues w/ Puppy, and it's so scary.
ReplyDeleteSandra, I find you so uplifting. I look forward to your posts and your beautiful photos. Wishing the best for Lola and your family. She is adorable.
