Can I just say that I'm really happy it's Monday??? I know that sounds weird but I really am glad it's Monday for some reason.
Had a good relaxing weekend, as so often is the case, and was spoiled yesterday and didn't have to do a single thing, which is great, but for someone who is so used to doing things, it was killing me LOL
I got yelled at a couple of times and told to sit down and relax, but oh my word, I felt like a lazy woman all day long and that drives me insane.
So, happy to be back to doing things......
The weather.....
Hot, but this week we are dropping the temps a bit and are supposed to see some rain, or so they say. I highly doubt that part. Here's a look at the rest of the week....
Right now I am....
Drinking my coffee, sitting with my Lola and chatting with my hubby before he leaves for work. .
Thinking....
That I'm glad it's Monday morning and that I have quite a bit to do with housework and I'm looking forward to it. Call me crazy, weird, I don't mind :)
On my reading pile....
The Silent Stars Go By - A 50th Anniversary Doctor Who book which I will be reviewing this afternoon.
On my TV.....
I'm on the last season of Fringe which has been fun to watch but I'm getting sad because I know it's ending. I do have a few others to keep me busy though, so there's always something to watch :)
What I found while surfing the net....
So I came across this site called Content Idea Generator, and basically you add in whatever word you want and it will come up with different titles for your blog. Some are pretty funny and I don't know how you would even go about writing something derived from those titles, but it's funny to see nonetheless......give it a try.....
On the menu for this week....
Just have the meals planned for today and tomorrow, have to work on the new menu plan this afternoon :)
Monday 13th

On my to do list....So, happy to be back to doing things......

Looking forward to this week....
Another uneventful week of work, school and homemaking. I am hoping we eat good food, learn good things and smile brightly.
Looking around the house....
Hubby is off to work. Nicholas woke up for a few minutes, came into the living room to give his dad a hug and then went back to bed :) The pugs are fast asleep on the couch.
I have my back door open with the screen closed, so I am enjoying listening to the birds chirping and watching the neighborhood cars drive by on their way to work. I have dishes in the sink that need to go in the washer and a couple of items in the living room that need to be put in their rightful places.
From the camera....
On my prayer list.....
My friend Jen and her family, for them to get the answers they need right now.
My father, that the job offer he has in South Africa works out so that he can have some stability.
My brother and sister in law as they wait for news on the sale of their house, they will be moving here in two months time and need this to be done.
For us, I just ask for God to help us while we wait and to take away the stress and the fear of the uncertainty.
Bible verse, Devotional....
Wow, that is hot! I wish I had your desire to clean! I only get that way when things get really bad.
ReplyDeleteHey I like that blog content generator. It works! I typed in incense and after a few refreshes it said "The 20 worst songs about incense" Since there aren't oo many songs I plan on writing "Songs About Incense" instead. Should be some fun research :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week Sandra!
Ha! That content generator is amusing! I love your devotional image! Have a lovely week :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I could do with some heat here. I actually switched the heating on last night and as I speak, I have a fleece and jumper on. And wooly socks. Come on summer!
ReplyDeleteWOW! It is hot down there! We got up to 91 last week and were thinking about putting the air conditioner in but didn't! Your craft basket list is growing:) I always love to see what you are making! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSandra, I am so glad you had a great Mothers day! I had a great one as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of your Monday. :)
Your devotional is so true, and something I'm constantly struggling with. It's very much like mine for the week.
ReplyDeleteI'm still praying for you and your family. Hang in there. :)
Happy Monday!
Glad to hear you had a restful Mother's Day. Hope the rest of your week is as lovely.
ReplyDeleteAt least your 102 degrees will be "breezy". :) haha, love weather people!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I have had to be forced to sit down and relax too...for some reason it is hard for we mommies! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I know the feeling of actually being glad it's Monday. Sometimes getting back into a routine is nice.
Have a fabulous week!
Haha that content generator is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHey I finally watched the Pride & Prejudice Having a Ball thing on BBC 2, it was fascinating and loads of fun, loved it.
Glad to hear your Mother's Day was restful! I don't like "doing nothing" either, but sometimes those days are good to remind us why we are always so busy :) Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI miss joining in on HHM ... hopefully things will settle for me soon so I can focus!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, my cousin-in-law is an actor on FRINGE (the first season anyway - I think they cut his character later - Agent Charlie??? - I don't watch the show so I don't know!). Anyhoo ... just my little claim to fame via 7 degrees of separation! LOL
