Five Senses Saturday

I love my Five Senses Saturday, and although I don't post it every single Saturday, I still think it's a great way to review the past week. What I saw, what I touched, tasted, felt etc....

- Kids talking about a youtube video they watched, laughing and retelling it to each other
- Jets flying above on the way to base
- Wind loudly whipping outside
- Favorite shows on the TV
- Kettle boiling for tea

- The sun shining through the windows early in the morning
- Birds flying from tree to tree
- Mountains of laundry waiting to be washed
- First fire of the season
- My kids laughing as they play card games with dad


::::TOUCH

- Firewood
- The softness of my crochet blanket
- Hot cup of coffee
- Bubbly soapy water as I do the dishes
- Bread dough as I knead it


::::TASTE

- Chocolate covered peanut brittle
- Gingerbread spice tea
- Bubbly Pear Juice
- Creamy Beef Noodle Bake
- Kettle Fried Chips


::::SMELL

- Thunderstorms
- Amber Romance Body Lotion
- Buttermilk Bread straight out of the oven
- Prairie Sky Zebra Stripes Candle Melts
- Wood burning in the fireplace
