Let's see what we have going on, shall we?
The weather:::
Freezing and icy. We had a cold front move in this weekend and the temperatures dipped down to 30 degrees, and we woke up to a blanket of white ice on the ground outside. Looks pretty but my word, is it cold. The rest of the week looks about the same with temperatures getting just to the low 60's for the highs, lots of rain, and even sleet and snow in the forecast for next weekend. Oh my!!!
As I look outside my window:::
The sun is just starting to rise, so while the top of the sky is black and starry, the bottom is light blue. I always love this time of the morning.
Right now I am:::
In bed, have the small heater going because it's freezing in our bedroom. This side of the house seems to be so cold. Working on this post and realizing that I forgot to grab my menu plan and too cold to get up and go find it.
Thinking and pondering:::
Thanksgiving. So many people coming in and so much I have to do today. My mother and father in law arrive tomorrow, and then Wednesday my brother in law and then Thursday the rest of the guests. I'm trying to remember everything I need to do because once I'm off here, I am going full turbo mode and will not stop until bedtime with everything I have to get done.
On my bedside table:::
Cup of coffee, a plate with a piece of toast.
On my tv this week:::

ReplyDeleteThank you for the PBS shows. I set my DVR to record Secrets of the Dead and American Experience. Those shows look extremely interesting. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and don't get too stressed. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteWow! You'll be one busy Gal for sure!! We host Christmas so I get a bit of a break for Thanksgiving - but I do make about half of the menu. My SIL handles most of the rest and we swap those duties at Christmas. Lol
ReplyDeleteLove that cute photo of you. ;)
Wishing you a very blessed Thanksgiving and safety for all of your travelers. May your day be filled with food, family, laughter and all the blessings the Lord provides us with so abundantly.

We've got the cold, blowing snow thing happening here too. Looking forward to it warming up on the weekend. The temps have been so up and down!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! Your weather sounds like here...A little bit of everything...but we don't get the 60s here. We won't be out of the 30s until later this week. Brrr! We usually have quite a bit of snow by now, but thus far nothing. I'm more than happy to wait for it! LOL We'll be piled high before too long.
ReplyDeleteI hope your family had a Happy Tahnksgiving!
