{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 03/26/2018 }

Good morning everyone, from a very cloudy and rainy Texas.

I've a had a cup of coffee and sent my hubby off to work, watched a few youtube videos, did a little reading and now it's time to post our Happy Homemaker Monday, before I get started with my day.

Wishing you all a beautiful, blessed week :)

Breakfast time....what is on the plate this morning::::
Had a cup of coffee with Italian sweet cream creamer, and a bowl of Banana Nut Crunch Cereal.

On today's to do list::::
  1. Laundry - Have a ton of bed linens, sheets, pillow cases and comforters to wash
  2. My husband bought me an Air Fryer/Dehydrator/Oven/Rotisserie PowerAirFryer.  I'm going to try out a few things this week, starting with some dehydrated banana and apple slices, so will start those this morning, as it takes about 6 hours.
  3. Usual house cleaning, vacuum and also want to carpet clean the living room and dining room
  4. Blog post
  5. Update Food Blog
  6. Cookbook review
Currently reading::::
Hurricane Season by Lauren K. Denton

On the TV this week::::
Nothing has changed, pretty much the same shows that were on the list last week, but with a new one that is starting today on AMC, called The Terror.  It looks pretty good so I'm going to give it a try and see if I like it.
General Hospital
Portuguese Soap "A Herdeira"
Turn
Call the Midwife

The weather outside is::::
Cloudy and rainy, but pretty hot.  We reached 90 degrees yesterday.  We have quite a lot of rain, some severe storms etc. this week, so I'm looking forward to that, y'all know how much I love rainy weather :)

On the menu this week::::
Monday - Steaks and Homemade Fries (I'm going to make those in the Air Fryer)
Tuesday - Spaghetti Bolognese, Garlic Bread
Wednesday - Ham and Cheese Chicken Rolls, Garlic, Parley and Butter Potatoes
Thursday - Hamburgers with Pepper Gravy, Buttery Rice, Veggies
FridayHomemade Pizza
Saturday - Meatball Pasta, Salad
Sunday - Easter -  Brown sugar, mustard Ham (cooking it in the air fryer), Potato Salad, Green Salad, Hot Cross Buns

If I have a few minutes to myself, I will::::
Finish the book I have for review, and start on the next.  I also have a few shows I want to watch (some of those are above in the tv section), also want to start my new menu plan.  Curt and I have decided we want to start eating a bit healthier, it's not that we are extremely unhealthy, but more and more we're becoming aware of how much bad stuff is in the food we consume, but also just wanting to go the lighter route especially with Summer coming up.  The Air Fryer was bought with that in mind.  But, sorry I got off track there hahaha  I am going to be making new menu plans using a lot of recipes from Skinny Taste, which I LOVE.  I've used Gina's recipes before, back in Arizona and it's time to get back on track :)

What I'm sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating::::
Still working on the Spicier Life blanket.

New recipe I tried, or want to try this week::::
I am so sorry, I ended up not getting the previous recipes up on the food blog.  Honestly, did not get a chance last week, but that's on the to do list for today.
As for recipes I am trying, like I said, I'll be trying out the Air Fryer, will do a post on that on the food blog this week, and then as I try new recipes, I'll share with you as well.

In the meantime, if you have an Air Fryer and have some good recipes, please share them down below in the comment section, I would love to try them :)

Favorite photo from the camera::::
Our property is springing to life, the grass is green, the trees are all blooming.  It's a beautiful sight to see :)

Bible Verse, Devotional::::
Oh my friends, I have to share with you the book I just received for review.  It's from Steven Furtick and it's called Seven-Mile Miracle.  I'm really looking forward to reading this one.  The book focuses on the last statements of Jesus on the cross and how we can apply them to our own personal journey with God.

  5. We've got the rain here, too, this morning, Sandra, and it's supposed to continue throughout the day, into the night, and all day tomorrow. They're predicting flooding by mid-week. The blanket that you're crocheting is so pretty! And I love the redbuds. Mine should be blooming soon. :) Have a blessed week ahead and a Happy Resurrection Sunday! Blessings! <3

    I'll be curious to hear what you think of the air fryer. I have thought many times about getting one, but wanted to hear more from folks that have them. So please feel free to share what you think and how recipes are turning out. ;)
