The dangerous beauty of Lavender Tides is harboring secrets that reach around the world.
Ellie Blackmore is making a name for herself as a house flipper. But when her sister Mackenzie disappears, Ellie can’t focus on anything but uncovering what happened. Her only clue is the bloodstain on the deck of Mackenzie’s boat. Ellie knows her sister isn’t on the best of terms with her ex-husband, Jason, but he wouldn’t kill her—would he?
Coast Guard intelligence officer Grayson Bradshaw believes Mackenzie faked her own death after stealing a seized cocaine shipment. The problem is convincing Ellie, who seems to view him as the true enemy.
Both Ellie and Grayson want truth, but truth—and family—is often more complex than it first appears. From international terrorism to the peaceful lavender fields of Puget Sound, The House at Saltwater Point is a thrilling race to uncover the truth before it’s too late.

My Thoughts:I absolutely love Colleen Coble, and I can say as a fact, that she is the reason I started enjoying crime and suspense novels.
The story begins with Ellie who flips houses and loves what she does. Together with her partner, Jason, they have a pretty good working relationship going, there is only one little hiccup in that.....the fact that Jason is the ex husband of Ellie's sister, Mackenzie.
When Mackenzie disappears from her boat, on the night of her birthday celebration, Ellie is left reeling and wondering what happened to her, and is she even alive, a thought that scares her mainly due to the fact that she found a bloodstain on the boat deck.
Together with handsome Coast Guard Intelligence Officer Grayson, she is determined to find her sister or any clues that may lead to her whereabouts.
What follows is a story that runs it's course through dead bodies, international terrorism and two people dead set on NOT falling in love.
Thanks for being a part of the tour!
