{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 11/05/2018 }

Good morning dear friends, and welcome to another Happy Homemaker Monday :)

It's a beautiful Fall morning, crisp and clear skies and the gentlest of breezes.  I hope wherever you are reading this from, you are doing well and my wish for you is that you are immensely blessed today, this week and every day after.

Let's see what we are all up to in our HHM.

The weather outside is::::
Beautiful 55 degrees at the moment.  Looks like today and tomorrow we are still going to be messing around with upper 70s, but it's 60s and 50s from then on :)

On the breakfast plate this morning::::
A cup of coffee with some Sweet Cream Creamer, and a bowl of Banana Nut Crunch Cereal.

As I look outside my window:::
Gorgeous Fall trees just across from me, it is almost like staring out at a painting.  The sky is clear with a few clouds here and there and there is a slight breeze that is gently swaying some tree branches.

Right now I am::::
On the couch, Marley is asleep beside me.  I have a candle burning on the coffee table, and Anne with an E on the TV, while I eat my cereal and compile this post.

As I look around the house::::
I need to do some dusting and vacuuming, but aside from that, the house is not terribly bad.  I used to feel like a tornado had swept through every weekend, when the kids were younger, but as they've gotten older they tend to contain their messes to their own bedrooms (not that I like that, but at least it's contained, right?).

On today's to do list::::

Cleaning....Usual daily chores, but like I said above, I need to vacuum and dust.  I also want to give Jasmine's bedroom a good clean while she's gone, mainly because she can't find her glasses and I need to try and find them for her.  I felt always sending her off without her glasses and she assured me she was ok, but I would still prefer her to have her glasses.
Homeschooling....Nick has a Geometry portfolio to turn in, plus a Sign Language one as well.  He tends to put those off because he's extremely shy and does not like to record himself on video.
Crocheting and knitting....I am on Part 8 of the Ubuntu CAL, which is all about the border, I'm hoping to finish that before the next Part is released on Wednesday.
Cooking.....Not sure what I'll have for lunch, probably some salad.  Dinner will be Herb Chicken Tortellini with Spaghetti Sauce and some Garlic Knots.

Currently reading::::
Still on my Marilla of Green Gables, I only wish I had more time to sit and read because it's truly becoming one of my favorite books EVER.

On the TV today::::
I'm almost done with Season 2 of Anne with an E, and really really REALLY enjoying it.

Hetty Feather - It's not on Netflix but you can watch online and also on Amazon Prime.

Black Sails - Only watched a few episodes a few years ago
Castle Rock - Haven't yet started
Manifest - New Episode

On the menu this week::::
Monday - Herb Chicken Tortellini with Spaghetti Sauce, Garlic Knots
Tuesday - Pork Chops, Rice with Peas, Pressure Cooker Beans
Wednesday - Pasta Alfredo with Ham, Salad
Thursday - Monterey Chicken, Pressure cooker Twice Baked Potatoes
Friday - Best Chili Ever with Rice
Saturday - Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes
Sunday - Leftovers

What I am creating at the moment::::
Ubuntu CAL Part 8.

  3. I've been wanting pork chops for dinner, but our stores have not had organic pork chops in many months. I have put my request in, so I hope to make some soon. Love the centerpiece.

  9. I agree with the comment about the kids not messing the house up as they get older. I have found that with my two. I just need to work on my husband.
