Good morning everyone, and a very happy Monday to you all. ♥
My days seem to just be running from one into the other. I feel like I used to be able to distinguish between the week days and the weekends, but they're equally busy lately so it's just a big run on from one to the other.
Anyway, I am home today, and thankfully so because we're expecting some major storms, and I really love rainy days, so I plan on enjoying the heck out of the next few days.
Now, let's see what is happening around our homes.....
♥♥ The Weather ♥♥
It's been so hot lately, and extremely dry. We are in desperate need of rain, and the good Lord is going to provide the next few days.
Monday - Scattered Thunderstorms, 70
Tuesday - Thunderstorms, 71
Wednesday - Partly cloudy, 72
Thursday - Sunny, 85
Friday - Sunny, 94
Saturday - Partly cloudy, 97
Sunday - Partly cloudy, 99
♥♥ As I look outside my window ♥♥
We have cloudy skies, and a little bit of wind. It is beautiful outside, only 57 at the moment which feels amazing after the triple digits we've had.
I don't know about you all, but I always love seeing the contrast between the dark rainy skies and the green of the trees.
♥♥ Right now I am ♥♥
Sitting on my bed working on this post. I just saw my hubby off to work, and finished my coffee, may need to go get more. I am watching some videos on youtube, and the puppy and kitty are both asleep next to me on the bed.
♥♥ Thinking and pondering ♥♥
About the fact that we finally were able to close on the house last week. What a relief, what a blessing!!!
♥♥ How am I feeling ♥♥
Tired, but that's the norm for me.
♥♥ On the breakfast plate ♥♥
Just coffee for now.

It's
quiet, and dark. I gave it a good clean yesterday, so thankfully today I can take it easy.
♥♥ To Do List ♥♥
- Nothingggggggg, aside from the usual small daily tasks and making dinner
♥♥ From the camera ♥♥
Last week we noticed that we have a pair of Whistling Ducks living on our property. They are so pretty.
♥♥ Devotional ♥♥
The grace of Jesus, the love of God, and the activity of the Spirit
surround you. There are no moments in your life where this is not the
case. The fact is, the more you live as if these words are true, the
more you experience their reality in your life.
how nice to have a not-so-busy day once in awhile. Duckies!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
Yes definitely helps to recharge. ♥
DeleteOh! Enjoy your cozy, stormy, rainy day! Would you believe those are my favorites?? Seinfeld is my favorite. Forever.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that your favorites are the same as ours. :) Thank you, the rain is very much needed as we've already been hitting triple digits.
DeleteEnjoyed your post, and you know I like Johnny Depp, especially as a Pirate, but I know he isn't as innocent as a rose, and would be a pill to live with, but I really do not like her at all. She is doing so much grand standing. she is very unbelievable. just my thoughts!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, agreed, and agreed!!!! You and I seem to always been on the same mind set. She is awful, she lies, she smirks, I just can't deal with her. Johnny has always been one of my favorite actors, love him, but he is not perfect, he has a lot of issues too he needs to deal with.
DeleteTHIS is why I love the internet and reading blogs. I would've never even known something as amazing as whistling ducks exist if not for reading this post. They ARE beautiful and I hope I see some the next time I'm in Florida, since Google says they have been seen in Florida and Louisiana, among other places in the south. If only they would come just a LITTLE farther north to our yard, in Arkansas. lol
ReplyDeleteThis was my first time ever seeing them too. We now have 4 living on our property. I had to google them, and describe how they looked to find out they were Whistling Ducks, never even knew they existed hahahahah
DeleteHappy Monday to you also! Hope it didn't get too stormy for you. Those ducks are so cool if indeed they whistle maybe they can teach me. I still do not have that mastered!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha that's funny. Yes they make a sort of whistling sound. You can actually google what they sound like.
DeleteLOVE those ducks and I really love that you're able to stay home during the storms and that they are cooling you down just a bit. I hope you have a GREAT week.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend. The heat is not my thing anymore since hitting perimenopause hahahaha I used to love heat. Now? Can't deal with it.
DeleteMy husband and I took Sunday off. Well, mostly. It was so nice too. He is working 12 hour days at work, 6 days a week, and we really needed the fun time and time alone. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got to spend time together, and that your husband was able to relax a bit, he really is working a lot of days and long hours.
DeleteSorry I'm late this week my Dear Friend! Enjoy the cozy rainy weather!! Blessings on your week. xo
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a blessed week, my friend ♥
DeleteGlad you got some much needed rain as well. How nice to have nothing big on the to-do list. Love the picture of the whistling ducks. Hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I've been enjoying the sporadic rain. It's been much needed in this heat we've already been sitting in.
DeleteCongrats on the House, Whistling Ducks?? never heard of them. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) I had never heard of them either until they showed up on our property.
