Good morning, welcome back :)
I hope you've all had a good weekend, and I wish you all a very blessed week ahead. I don't have much to ramble on about today, so I thought it best to just say hello and get right on with our post.

*** Things that make me happy ***
Books....reading, browsing, sitting at the library surrounded by them.
I do have a Kindle and do read on it sometimes, but nothing beats a physical book for me.
Tonight's recipe is a new one I haven't made before. It is the Baked Greek Yogurt Chicken. The recipe is from Silk Road Recipes.
*** Book I'm reading ***
Finished both The
Apothecary's Daughter by Julie Klassen and Walk on Earth a Stranger by
Rae Carson. Also finished the second book in the Rae Carson Trilogy, so the second book after Walk on Earth a Stranger, and am well into the third and last. Took this weekend off to catch up on my reading, and I can't tell you how much I love just sitting down on a quiet afternoon, with a hot cup of tea and reading a good book.
So, at the moment, I'm reading Into the Bright Unknown by Rae Carson.
Also, still in Joshua in the Bible.
*** What's on my tv today ***
Vlogtober Videos on YouTube.
Christian Videos by some of my favorite prophets, on Rumble.
*** On the breakfast plate ***
Had a cup of coffee with 2% milk and a bowl of my fresh granola, that I prepared last night.
*** On the lunch plate ***
Not sure, I am not really very hungry today. But, it will probably be a salad, a smoothie or a yogurt.
*** On the dinner plate ***
Baked Greek Yogurt Chicken, Basmati Rice, Zucchini in Tomato Sauce.
*** On the menu ***
Will be starting the new meal plan on Wednesday, so as always, there are only meals until then.

I've been looking back on my blog, quite a lot this past week. I love going back in time and reading my posts, seeing what we were doing. I came across this gorgeous photo of my Yarn Along, when I was working on making my first Blooming Pillow ♥ *** Devotional, Prayers, Bible Verses ***
My prayers are still very much focused on the devastation from Hurricane Helene, but now also adding in Hurricane Milton which is on track to hit Florida again by Wednesday. Please pray!
Still nice out there! getting colder here. Hope you have a great week. beautiful yarn
ReplyDeleteHappy new week Sandra! I love looking back at my blog at times too. Especially for the seasons. :) You have a lot more years to look back on though! That recipe sounds delish!! I can't wait to see your nordic quilt done - I adore that one! And thanks for prayers - getting Annie out of Tampa tomorrow to come home for the week, thank God! I continue to pray too. Those poor folks. 😢🙏🏻
