In this week's Yarn Along, I have been
working on a new granny square blanket. I was going to do tiny squares, about 3 rounds each, but quickly decided against it. I am the kind of crocheter that loves the craft, but if I have to make too many of a specific pattern, I quickly get bored.
I opted for larger squares. I'm going for a Cath Kidston inspired color palette, as I often do, and so far I am just loving the quick way these work up and it's also a mindless thing that I can work on while watching TV.
As for a physical book, I am currently reading Measure of Devotion by Nell Joslin. I will be doing a review on it this coming Friday, so if you're interested keep an eye out for that. This novel is set during the Civil War, which makes it a fascinating read for me. Really liking it and can't wait to tell you all about it.
On my Kindle I am reading The Watchmaker's Daughter by C.J. Archer. I found it for free on Kindle and downloaded it. I'm not too far in but I can already tell that I'm going to enjoy this one as well.
