{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 11/10/2025 }

Good morning, welcome.

Come on in out of the cold, it is freezing out there.  We are under a freeze watch and currently experiencing 27 degree weather.  Like I said last week, from summer straight to winter, oh Texas!

I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend and I wish you all a great Veteran's Day on Tuesday.

I have to do a shopping run to Winco this morning for some items and will probably go ahead and grab most of my Thanksgiving ingredients too.  By the way if you have a Winco nearby, from the 19th of November to the 26th, with every $125 you spend, you get a free Turkey.  Not a bad deal at all!

Right, now let's get going with our day.

Have a blessed week my friends ♥

In bed, tucked in nice and warm with my Elliott.  It's so cold, I wish I could stay right here all day long, but that would not be a good thing.  I have some random YouTube video on and am sipping on a lukewarm second cup of coffee.

*** Thinking and pondering ***
Thanksgiving.  I plan on doing some posts with recipes I'll be using, what I'll be making, and all the planning etc.  I'll be taking you along with each day as we countdown to the big yummy get together.

  1. The blanket is stunning. We're in a freeze watch here too. They're saying we may even see snow tonight. I'm so not ready for that yet. I lvoe the new blog graphics. What do you use to create them? Have a blessed week!

  3. I now have a craving for a cinnamon raisin bagel and cream cheese! I ALMOST bought cinnamon raisin bread at the grocery store yesterday, but talked myself out of it. I guess I should listened to my gut!

    We did the straight from summer to winter thing this year too and it's hard on the system and the menu! I hope you find something yummy at Winco for lunch. Ours has a nice selection of sammies and such.

    Have a WONDERFUL week my friend.

  4. Oh my - now you're getting temps like here up north! I bet you're loving the cozy time though. :) Thanks for your prayers and support - the surgery went well and they got all the cancer with one shave of the Mohs surgery. Just quite a bit of healing now (took lots of stitches - right on the front of my face - so fun). I hope you stay cozy. I'm thinking all things holidays and figuring out our lists and grocery shopping too. :) Blessings. xo
