The Joys of Parenting!
There's no doubt about a house with kids when everywhere you look, there's visual reminders. I look at these and I smile, it's like my children leave a little reminder of themselves everywhere I go and what's better than that?
I also got an award from Christina, she's such a sweet lady and I've blogged with her for so many years, so it was great getting this Arte y Pico (meaning “Peak of Art”) award. :) Thank you Chris!
I've been asked to pass this on 5 blogs that bless me. Oh boy, I can't just pick 5, there's no way because each and every one of my readers bless me in one way or another, I've learned so much from you all and when I'm down all I have to do is take a peek at your blogs and I'm instantly uplifted. So here you go...all of you that comment regularly, you know who you are :)
Congrats on the award - you deserve every one yo get!

ReplyDeleteI love a lived in house - anything else just isn't real!
You are so right!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to gripe and complain at times when you are trying to keep a house clean and spotless. But...then when I see these little reminders I realize, I would rather have toys lying around then a spotless house!! :-)) Our children are a lovely gift and give us joy.
Love your post, and Thank you for your sweet compliment on my blog. You my dear, are just as lovely...and love your author photo pictures.
Big hugs,
OX~Nene
How fun, little surprises everywhere :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the award!
Just wanted to take a moment to say hi from one military wife to another. I was looking at that same kind of mess this morning...because I didn't pick it up last night! I even made the comment that it looks like a toybox threw up in the living room this morning.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog and read just about every day. Take care!
What a wonderful way to look at it. I just say, "Why is all this crap laying around."
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award! You deserve it! Most of the time I feel the same way about my kid's "blessings" around the house, except when I walk on a lego left on the floor - LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd before you know it, there will be no more toys around! It happens so fast, they grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteI just kept my daughter's babies and I forgot how much work little ones can be!
