Period and Historic Book List

So we got the TV series, documentaries and movies covered, but what about books???

My sweet friend Elizabeth from Attempting to be a Super Mom asked me if I could compile a list of some Period books, and I of course jumped on it because it's one of my favorite genres to read, and it would be quite fun to have a running list of all the books I've read that are either Period or Historic.

    I love your blog.. and have said so before..
    THANKS FOR THE EFFORT YOU PUT INTO MAKING A BLOG POST LIKE THIS..
    Here in India , we do not get to see much of the period dramas and watching them with a fast internet connection is expensive.. But I still try to watch as much as possible
    Last month I watched wives and daughters and loved it...
    I love the Victorian age and the olden times so simple and honest
