I thought I would do something a tad bit different today, have you come along with me on my day. I'll be posting photos and quick updates every hour on the hour, so be sure to check back often :)
Not sure how this is going to turn out, I'm hoping it will be something fun for you all, and if it is, I may do it once a week.
*******************************************************
5:00 AM - Good morning everyone, hope you've had a blessed, restful night. I've been up since 2:30 am with Mr Marley. I don't think anything gets you up and out of bed as fast as hearing your dog about to throw up. He vomited a couple times, so I've been in the living room with him to allow my husband some rest before he has to head to work.
I'm completely exhausted and I'm hoping that I'll be able to get a quick nap in after this first post.
I've had a cup of coffee, I've been watching a few vlogs just to kill time while I wait for the little one to feel better and settle down, which he seems to be finally doing.
6:00 AM - Still pitch black outside, but a beautiful morning and the moon behind the tree branches makes for a pretty sight.
7:00 AM - Sun is starting to rise
8:00 AM - Fell asleep on the couch for 30 mins, but am up and trying to get ready
It's a comfy pj pants and tank top kinda day
9:00 AM - He is feeling much better
9:30 AM - Having a cup of coffee and some waffles for breakast. Not usually what I would eat but I need the sugary energy today to keep me going
10:00 AM - Time to tackle the laundry on the couch, gotta get it all folded and ready to be put away
10:30 AM - much better....
11:00 AM - Going to sit for a bit, finish off my cup of coffee and watch Murder Calls on TV while I wait for hubby to get home for lunch
11:15 AM - Hubby is home for lunch, and he brought us Taco Bell which we haven't had in a while, so enjoying a quick bite with him before he has to rush back to work
11:30 AM - Hubby went to lay down for 30 mins for a quick power nap, he is exhausted and has some very important things going on at work, so needs a little extra pick me up.
I'm going to work on my Mandala Madness blanket until I have to get him up at noon.
12:00 PM - Time for some more housework
1:00 PM - A little Hyggelig time, reading through the art of Calm
Such gorgeous pages filled with ideas for a calm and relaxed life
Laying down for a few minutes with the puppy, we're not sleeping, just cuddling
2:00 PM - Getting things done around the house
Gathering fire wood and enjoying some fresh air on this gorgeous day
Unloading and reloading the dishwasher
A very much needed cup of my favorite English Breakfast tea
Popped in the movie Love and Friendship while I sip my tea and crack on with the mandala, about to finish Part 6
4:00 PM - Getting things ready for dinner, while waiting on hubby to get home. He usually plays with the puppy and keeps him entertained so I can get dinner fixed without interruptions
5:00 PM - Starting dinner, tonight we're having Ham Steaks, Potato Salad and Fresh Green Beans
Setting the table....
5:30 PM - Enjoying a yummy dinner. This is one of my family's favorites, and also one of the easiest and quickest meals to get on the table.
6:00 PM - And the washing up begins, chore I like the least, to be honest
7:00 PM - I'm really starting to feel the exhaustion kicking in and I'm counting the minutes until bedtime. First though, a nice hot shower :)
8:00 PM - Day is winding down, I'm working on my crochet and watching Everybody Loves Raymond on TV.
8:45 PM - And with that, my friends, I am heading to bed to hopefully get an early night and some much needed sleep.
I'm so glad that I was able to do this post for you all, even on a day like today where I wasn't functioning at my best. I quite enjoyed having to take the photos and hold myself responsible to post on the hour and throughout the day, I think it helped me stay on track and not just give in to the exhaustion.
Please do let me know if you enjoyed this post and if it's something you would enjoy seeing more often. If so, I may do it once a week :)
Again, thank you to all those who followed along with me today, left such sweet comments and were truly interested in my day, I appreciate you all so very much.
Now I better get myself into bed before I fall asleep at the computer.
Blessings,
Sandra

ReplyDeleteThank you Christy, it will be nice to know that you are following along with me :)
DeletePoor doggie! My beagle used to throw up frequently. (Of course she would eat the most awful things/critters she would find outside!) She just always had a delicate stomach. After she was 3 years old she didn't do it as much. But I know it is not fun to clean up! Andrea
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Marley eats everything he sees, we are constantly wrestling things out of his mouth, he loves twigs and bark and wood, dryer sheets, bottle caps, tea bags, bugs etc...whatever he can get to without us seeing lol

ReplyDeleteI have so many mugs and just can't seem to part with any, but I was just thinking the other day that I need to go through and do a clean up. Thank you for following along :)
