Hey everyone, I'm back with a grocery haul.
I'm not doing a video haul, and I don't know if I will do them again, so I thought that I would start adding them here to my blog instead. You get pictures instead of video....hope that's ok.
So I did my usual two week shopping, and this time around I spent $230, which is pretty good. I didn't have to buy a lot of meats this time around because I'm making quite simple meals.
If you're curious about my meal plan, be sure to check out yesterday's post.
I'll try my best to show you everything I got, hopefully don't leave something out. As always, I do my grocery shopping at the base commissary.
Breakfast sausage, 2 packs of hickory smoked bacon, 1 pack turkey bacon, 1 pack of bun length hotdogs, 2 frozen pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni and sausage), ham and turkey sub kit, pork chop steaks 2 pounds of ground beef, breakfast sausage biscuits.
Chicken tenders and chicken thighs, 2 packs of Toaster Strudels.
Tomatoes, carrots, zucchini, onions, bananas, caramel machiatto creamer, milk.
Hotdog buns, dozen eggs, shredded cheese, cheese slices and butter.
Bag of mixed chips for hubby's lunches, pepsi, mt. dew and a dr. pepper, couple candies and such for the kids, chips.
Sweet n low, Hawaiian punch, Pasta salad (I don't usually get these but they were on sale, so decided to give it a try), two boxes of stuffing mix (my son loves stuffing and it was on sale for 80c ), Panko breadcrumbs, slim jims for the boys.
Tortellini.
Rice and some black beans. I'm going to pressure cook the beans, divide them into small portions and use them for salads for me throughout the week.
Making Tacos one night, so picked up some more shells and some taco seasoning.
Mint chocolate (it's our treat every single time I go grocery shopping, it's become just something I always get), flour, non stick spray, alfredo sauce, spaghetti noodles and wild berry water for me.
Few more ramen noodles and some ramen bowls. I make lunch for my hubby every day, but sometimes if I don't have leftovers, or am out of bread or whatever the case, then I'll send him off with one of those along with his other lunch things. Foil, sandwich ziploc bags and two boxes of the Chicken in a biskit crackers.
Vinegar, Charms Frosted flakes, lysol wipes and purex dryer sheets.
Northern beans, kidney beans, black beans and pinto beans for a chili, some garbanzo beans for my lunch salads, pizza sauce, a clam chowder soup for hubby's lunch and some mexicorn.
Dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, deodorant for me and for Jasmine (I've been trying to use aluminum free deodorant and so far I'm liking this one), toothpaste, razors, body wash and also picked up some more One a Day vitamins for me. I have got to get better at taking my vitamins.
Needed a new swiffer and they were on sale today. I think it was $9 with a $2 coupon off, so I grabbed one. Dog food and lastly some toilet paper.
Also not pictured, I forgot to mention the dog treats, and the 10lb bag of potatoes.
I don't think I left anything out, again it was $230, but I need to go by Walmart tomorrow and pick up laundry detergent and softener, and another 1 or 2 gallons of milk, which I find o be cheaper than at the commissary.
Hope you enjoyed the grocery haul. Let me know if it's something you want me to keep doing every two weeks or not.
There's a horrid wind storm outside, at the moment, and I swear it sounds like the house is going to come down. Good grief!!!
Have a blessed Friday night everyone, I'm off to get into my comfy bed and watch some TV :)
