Camp Stew Recipe
2 (10-ounce) cans chicken
2 (10-ounce) cans barbecue pork
1 (16-ounce) can creamed corn
1 (16-ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 (28-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
Juice of 6 medium lemons
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
Stir all ingredients together in a slow cooker.
Cook for 4 to 6 hours.
You may use real lemon juice in place of fresh lemon juice.
You may also use your own cooked and chopped chicken in place of canned chicken.
sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteThis looks yummy. I've never seen BBQ pork in cans at the grocery store. Might have to look and see if I can get it around here.
ReplyDeleteThis looks yummy Sandra. It reminds me of Brunswick stew that I had in Virginia on vacation. I copied and pasted this in my to-try files. I'm sure I'll make it this fall.

ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect recipe for camp! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to have to try this more in the winter though. Right now it seems a bit hot for us to make it when temps are topping off at 100+.
