I hope you had a good weekend, mine was good but far too short, I felt like it went by super fast and I didn't get to rest or sleep in like I wanted to. Guess the countdown to next weekend begins again hahah
Anyway, I've now managed to post pretty much every day, for the last two weeks, and I couldn't be happier. I tried so many times, the past 2 or 3 years, to get back to regular blogging, and failed miserably. So happy that I have my mojo back :)
Well enough babbling and let's get right into our HHM for today.
Oh and Rhonda, from Dirt Road Primitives, please email me, I can't find your email anywhere and I can't seem to access your blog either :)

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
I set aside the Demelza and I've not yet started the Sophie, because I completely got pulled into the Mandala Madness which I'm loving :)
Looking around the house:::
Since I moved thing around this weekend, it is actually clean and tidy so I don't have to worry about it. I'm so happy with the new living room, it makes it look so much cozier and homey :)
From the camera:::
Something fun to share:::
You know how I love history and learning about the past? Well I came across a pretty neat website the other day, it's called Whizzpast. You can find all sorts of interesting articles about our wonderful past, like for example Victorian hairstyles, or Victorian Beach Life with photos, Writers who suffered from mental illness, American street life in the 60's and so many other cool ones. Go on and give it a look, I'm sure you'll find something really fun to read about :)
What I'm wearing today:::
Still in my pajamas as it's not even 8am yet. So pink long sleeved top and my minnie mouse pink, black and white bottoms.
One of my simple pleasures:::
Enjoying a Hyggelig moment in the middle of the day.
Bible verse, Devotional:::
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. - Colossians 3:23-24 NIV
LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR NEW CROCHETING PROJECT! It is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the redecorating too. Must be the military in us LOL Skip always said it kept him from coming home drunk because he knew I'd probably moved the furniture around when I cleaned.
Great menu this week!

ReplyDeleteThat vase is so pretty! I'd love to change our living room around a bit but our new couch only fits one way which is a bit of a bummer. I guess I'll have to find something else to move around. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh man. I really wanted to join in this. I will hope to remember next week. :)
ReplyDeleteI missed joining yesterday. I was busy at the stove, making a blueberry snack cake, then other very early spring cleaning. I'll try to join next week. I have so many crochet projects going on, but finally finished my crochet (scrap yarn) rug.
