{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 12/10/2018 }

Good morning everyone, how was your weekend?

I had a pretty good one, but for the past two days, I've been dealing with a niggling headache.  I'm pretty certain it is sinus because it's right between my eyes and the top of the head and I feel quite congested.

I've been taking Ibuprofen and it does keep it manageable but the minute it wears off, there it is again.  Goodness!!!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead as you prepare for Christmas and holidays with the family.  :)

The weather outside is::::
30 at the moment and chilly.  The grass is covered in frost, beautiful but cold.  We'll be staying in the 60's for the most part, and expecting rain on Thursday again.  I don't mind the cold weather, especially around this time of the year.

On the breakfast plate this morning::::
Cup of coffee with Vanilla Creamer and and toast with some Pumpkin Butter that my dear friend Tamy sent.  Thank you again Tamy, you know me so well :)

As I look outside my window:::
Gorgeous blue skies and bright sun, which due to the cold is causing the grass to look as if it's twinkling and shimmering with frost.  So pretty!!!

Right now I am::::
On the couch with my feet propped up, working on this post.  I am sporting my comfy warm pajama pants and a long sleeved black top.  I guess I'm going for the half dressed, half pajama look today? .

As I look around the house::::
I desperately need to vacuum and dust today.  I hung up some Christmas garland over the windows and the little green bits are all over the floor.  I also need to carpet clean sometime this week, probably when Jasmine is off work next so that I can be home all day and really get cracking on that.

On today's to do list::::
Laundry::::
No laundry.  I have a load of sheets in the dryer that just need folding and putting away, but everything else has been done.  Great feeling, aside from the fact that there is laundry in the basket again.  Truly never ending is it?
Cleaning::::
In the kitchen.... Unload the dishwasher and reload with breakfast dishes, sweep.
In the living room....Vacuum and dust.  Shake off the blankets and put outside for a few minutes to air. Need to pack the Christmas boxes back into the closet.
In the bedrooms....make the beds, pick up and tidy up.  Vacuum.
In the office....Vacuum, dust.
In the bathrooms....Sinks wipe down, toilet, sweep floors.
Homeschooling....Couple portfolios with Nick, also a bit of a catch up as he's been sick all last week.
Crocheting::::
I started on a wiggly trivet, and I also started another corner to corner granny.  Really want to try and crank out a swiffer mop cover today.
Cooking.....
Probably tuna salad for lunch.  For dinner we will be having Chicken Sopa.  I'll have the recipe on the blog later today.

Currently reading::::
Lady Traveler's Guide to Deception with an Unlikely Earl by Victoria Alexander.

On the TV this week::::
Watching Home Fires at the moment.
Been enjoying Vlogmas over on Youtube ( I mainly watch Knitting channels that put up the most beautiful Vlogmas videos this time of year)
Need to catch up on Outlander
Death and Nightingales (new BBC period drama)
Christmas movies

On the menu this week::::
Monday - Chicken Sopa, Salad
Tuesday - Baked Tilapia, Garlic Butter Potatoes
Wednesday - Sour Cream Beef and Rice Bake, Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower
Thursday - Spaghetti, Garlic Bread
Friday - Family over for dinner, making Zuppa Toscana, Homemade Bread and Simple Vanilla Cake

What I am creating at the moment::::
