Good morning friends, and a very happy Monday!
Can you believe that this is the last Happy Homemaker Monday before Christmas? How quickly this year has flown by.
We have had my younger brother staying with us this past weekend and it's been a lot of fun, but as with any gathering there is a flurry of activity and busyness. We are all heading to breakfast this morning, then they will be returning to my other brother's house for the rest of the week, until they go back home to South Africa on Saturday morning.
I still have a lot to do today and tomorrow, so let me get this post up and get on with the day. Hope you all have a wonderful Monday and wishing you and your families, a blessed wonderful Christmas.
The weather outside is::::
Cold and foggy at the moment. It is 26 degrees currently. I would be soooo happy if we could have gotten some snow for Christmas. Still, it looks like we will be in the upper 60s and even 70s this week. Monday - AM clouds/PM sun, 66
Tuesday - Partly cloudy, 70
Wednesday - Sunny, 72
Thursday - Mostly cloudy, 67
Friday - Showers, 64
Saturday - Showers, 61
Sunday - Partly cloudy, 52
On the breakfast plate this morning::::
Working on a cup of coffee with Peppermint Mocha creamer. Will be having breakfast at Ihop this morning though, can't wait for that.
As I look outside my window:::
It is extremely foggy outside, so all we see is a white cover of ice on the grass and then nothing but a sheet of grey spread across the property. I happen to think that fog is quite beautiful.
Right now I am::::
At my little desk, typing up this post and trying to get things done before we head out.
As I look around the house::::
It is dark, and messy. But it's a good kind of messy, the kind that means you have a house full of people who have been having a great time. The Playstation VR is out, controllers left laying on the couch. Couch pillows are strewn around, some on the floor, some stacked on one corner of the couch. The Christmas tree is lit, presents creating a sea underneath it. The dining table has remnants of snacks and coffee cups, chip bags, popcorn kernels and playing cards stacked neatly in the middle.
On today's to do list::::
Cleaning....Set this house in order.
Cooking.....Breakfast will be Ihop, so we mostly likely will have a sandwich for lunch. Will be making a pork roast for dinner.
On this week's to do list::::
Monday - Clean, take Jasmine to work.
Tuesday - Cooking for Christmas Eve, spending it at brothers house.
Wednesday - NOTHING, and it feels amazing to say that.
Saturday - Take family to airport, take Jasmine to work
On the menu this week::::

Tuesday - Christmas Eve (Buffet style)
Wednesday - Supreme Pizza Ring
Thursday - BBQ Ribs, Macaroni and Cheese

You sound very happy. I'm glad everyone made it there safely. Enjoy IHOP. I love the fog, too.
