Sometimes this is how homeschooling goes for the 8th grader.
And I have to say, if I could have been homeschooled and enjoyed yummy snacks while doing school, I would have been thrilled.
He does not like Math....not one single bit. But here he is concentrating on metric units of measurement.
While they work, I sit nearby. I give them instruction when needed and then while they complete their problems, I work on my crochet.
As I was writing up my Happy Homemaker Monday post, and saying that I didn't know what to do with crochet, an idea popped into mind for an Easter Decoration. I'm so excited, can't wait to finish it tomorrow. Have a few more colored pieces to make tonight and then put it all together tomorrow to show you :)
Also spent a little time looking through some old cookbooks I have. I think one of the things I most enjoy about them are the stories, the tips and the pictures.
This specific one is divided into the different months of the year, it's fascinating to read :)
And now it's dinner time, so I better skidaddle on out. Nothing fancy, just some Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, which is always loved in this home.
Have yourselves a blessed night and thank you for stopping by :)
