My Thoughts:
I wasn't quite sure about this book at first, mainly because it's not really a genre I would typically pick up to read, or enjoy.

But, I found that it actually turned out to be quite a fun story, fast paced and pretty easy read.  Keep in mind that it is a YA novel.

The story takes place in 2025 in a High School, where Brit is running for student body president.  She believes in being transparent and honest, but her opponent Matt has other ideas in mind and will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and that is to win the election by beating Brit at all costs.

It doesn't help that he has money behind him, something Brit doesn't, but what she does have is a determination to bring to light the corruption and wrong doings she has uncovered. 

Unfortunately that might not be as easy as she would think, since everyone around seems to be in Matt's pocket and perfectly happy with the corruption that abounds.

I did find some of the things going on a little out there, but then I had to remind myself that it is set in the future.

Overall, I think young adults may find this book interesting and somewhat informative when it comes to their voice being heard, voting and standing up for what you believe in.
