I showed in my post yesterday, but if you didn't see it, I made some pillow covers using old shirts and sweaters.
Homemaking Tips:::
Once a week, I pour some baking soda down the drains, and then add boiling water. It disinfects and also helps break up anything that could be potentially clogging your drains.
Looking around the house:::
The sun has just started to come up and it's 7:30 AM. Definitely getting into the Fall season. House is still pretty dark, I have opened the curtains in both living rooms to let in the morning light.

One thing about the changing seasons, is that I love lighting a candle early morning or evening time and just watching the warm light engulf the room.
On my prayer list:::
♥♥ I want to start by asking you all to say a prayer for my friend Jen's son, Andrew. He is having a PET scan today. I don't want to go into details as they are not my business to tell, but I ask that you please hold Andrew up in prayers as well as Jen, she is a mama and absolutely terrified at the moment.
♥♥ My mother in law going through IV Chemotherapy Infusions. I don't understand anything about this and have no clue how these are in contrast to the usual chemotherapy treatment. I do ask that you continue to hold her up in prayer.

Jesus, I thank you that you have both the power and authority to heal both Andrew and Pat.
I boldly come to you today to ask for your grace and healing power to be at work in their bodies. I trust that you are powerful and looking for an opportunity to show your power in them.
Cause this sickness to leave their bodies in Jesus’ name. I break the power of stress and trauma and release your peace. I speak to every part of their body and say, “Be whole in Jesus’ name.” Function properly—the way God designed you to function.
Jesus, send your word and heal them today. You paid the price for their healing, so I trust that you are at work in them. Holy Spirit, fill every part of Andrew and Pat with your supernatural presence. Drive out all that is not good, holy, and true and allow them to receive the healing you have for them today, in Jesus’ name, amen.

I'm so glad your temperatures are FINALLY behaving themselves and coming down to a fall level!! I can see the reflection in your menu! I do the same thing with the baking soda EXCEPT I use a cup of white vinegar. Our old plumber had me start doing this. He said the vinegar was a better agent for clearing any clogs and sanitizing the drains - something his grandma had taught him. Keeping you all in my prayers that you have a healthy and wonderful week.
I'm behind on everything but with good reason though. Our temps will dip very low next weekend. Brr. WE don't even have wood cut yet. Yikes. Have a great week.

Yay for the cooler weather your way!! I love those pillows! I miss burning candles, lately when I do they give me an intense headaches, so sad! I am going to look into doing the oils, it won't be the same with the glow of a candle, but at least I will have the yummy scents in the house!. I do the baking soda/hot water as well!
