{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 12/06/2021 }

Good morning everyone, come on in out of the cold.  It is so windy and chilly this morning, I'm thankful I don't have to go anywhere at all.

Last night we had family and Jasmine's boyfriend over for dinner, and had a really good time.  It's always wonderful getting together, enjoying good food and having a lot of laughs, especially during times when one of our own is going through a difficult patch.  It helps to be with family!

I have a home day today, Jasmine is off thank goodness, so I plan on catching up with some food prepping for the week, and making some more paper stars for decoration.

Hope you all have a fantastic week ahead.  Let's get right on with our Happy Homemaker Monday for today.

♥♥The Weather♥♥
It is 40 degrees right now but the real feel is 30.  Our weather is still all over the place, one day 80 degrees and the next, 50.   Here's a look at this week's temperature.

♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥
I'm feeling really well, got good sleep last night and know that I have a home day ahead, so really happy.

♥♥On my mind♥♥
Again, the holidays.  Especially Christmas shopping and gifts and planning the food.

♥♥Something Christmas related I've done the past few days♥♥
On Saturday morning we bought our Christmas tree.  It always makes me so happy when that day happens.  There is something about the real tree, the smell, the pine needles, the decorating, that just makes me smile.

♥♥Christmas movie I watched♥♥
I watched Home Alone with my little great niece Eva.  She loves that movie so much and hearing her laugh is just the sweetest thing.

♥♥What I'm wearing today♥♥
Well, at this moment I am still in bed, in my warm pajamas.  Not sure what I'll wear later, but probably something really comfy.

♥♥On my reading pile♥♥
Reading through Luke this month.
Some book reviews too.

♥♥On today's to do list♥♥
Process the tomatoes I have in the fridge.  Some will be made into sauce and I think others will be used for Fried Green Tomatoes.
Put the table away from last night's dinner.

 ♥♥On my tv♥♥
Vlogmas videos on Youtube and Christmas movies.

♥♥What I'm listening to♥♥
At the moment, just the sound of wind outside the windows.

♥♥On the menu this week♥♥

Monday - Pepper Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Sauteed Greens
Tuesday - Slow Cooker Jamaican Curry Chicken, Basmati rice
Wednesday - Ikea Style meatballs, Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli
Thursday - Chili Mac and Cheese, Salad
Friday - Pork Cebolada, Rice
Saturday -
Sunday

♥♥From the camera♥♥
This sweet boy makes me laugh so much hahah

♥♥Looking around the house♥♥
It definitely feels like Christmas.  The trees are up, the decorations are out, and there is a feeling of peace and hope in the air.

♥♥In preparation for the holidays♥♥
I have bought a few gifts that I need to wrap today.  Still have a few more that need buying and hopefully I will be done by next week.

♥♥On my prayer list♥♥
* My sister in law Hayley.
* My niece Tiffany, she is now 36 weeks and has been in quite a bit of pain.

Hello Lovely!
I love that you said it's windy and cold there this AM - same here...only it's only 5 degrees. 😂 I love your cozy home and all you share about what you do there. And I LOVE how you're going through Luke for the season. I am following that and so grateful for it. Prayers for your SIL and hope your niece has baby soon. Stay cozy! xo

Sounds like we have the same weather. Up and down from one day (or 2) to the next. Home Alone is favorite over here, glad you were able to enjoy the movie and some fun family time as well. Hope you have a wonderful week!
