Good morning friends!
Welcome back to another Happy Homemaker Monday!
I am sorry this post is going up later than usual, but I've been running back and forth all morning, and am only now sitting down with a cup of coffee, to get this post out for you. So, without any more delays, let's just get right on with it.
The weather in my neck of the woods:::
It's so cold this morning. We went from wonderful warm weather to freezing temperatures and ice the last two days. I give up trying to understand this insane weather.
Monday - Sunny, 68
Tuesday - Sunny, 78
Wednesday - Sunny, 87
Thursday - Sunny, 84
Friday - Sunny, 80
Saturday - Sunny, 90
Sunday - Sunny, 95
As I look outside my window:::
After a week of cloudy, dark and rainy weather, the sun is shining with not a cloud in sight. It's so bright that it's almost blinding in certain areas.

Right now I am:::
Just finished my morning chores, got the bed made fresh and am sitting at my desk to work on this post.
Something fun to share (a blog, a video, a tip):::
I have been following Punkin's Patch blog, since it started in 2007. It's one of the very few that have continued to post, which makes me so happy. I wish more of the older original blogs had continued.
Thinking and pondering:::
About my kid's birthdays. Nick turns 22 on Friday and Jasmine turns 26 on the 25th of April. I can't believe those little kids that I shared with you all when I first started blogging, are now in their twenties. Boy do I feel old.

Oh my, I CANNOT hardly believe that the kids are in their 20's! Seriously, when did that happen? Happy Birthday Nick and Jasmine!
The weather certainly is in a turmoil. I bought tomato seedlings, but they're on the kitchen counter. I used to be able to plant the end of March or first of April, but the past couple years we're into May before I can start. But, if I don't buy the seedlings in April, they're gone!
I agree with you about the old blogs, so many of the ones I liked the most have fallen by the wayside :SIGH: Personally, I really enjoy blogging - even when it's stressful (like way back when google shut me out of my first blog, 3 sides of crazy, when it was taken by some foreign entity and they said I couldn't prove it was mine!) But I digress :)
Have a blessed week my friend!
It is amazing how fast it seems that the kids have grown up! Mine are 28, 26, and 25!
I love that oil lamp. I had a couple back in my 20s that were my grandmother's. I'm guessing they broke along the way! I'll have to hit up some thrift shops for sure.
Have a great week! (p.s. 95 degrees - yikes)
We have baby chicks chirping away in out living room at the moment. Their little chirps are so sweet. My baby turns 20 on Easter. It's amazing how fast time flies by. One minute they are learning to read and tie their shoes and then theu are running around with school and jobs. We're not old. We're aging like fine wine! Have a great week.
Hello my Lovely! The time sure does fly - geesh, their 20's already!! My baby turns 19 this year and my son will be 25. I feel your pain Momma. Lol I need to check out that blog. I wish I had been a blogger in those OG days. Sigh. I missed out then. I hope you have an amazing week! xo
Goodness, but time flies! How are our kids so "old" already, and we're still young spring chickens hehe. I hope you have the most beautiful week!
I love this cozy read. I'm very much in favor of appreciating home life and enjoying the simple things in life.
Beautiful post
Please read my post
Looks like a cozy day at your house. Have a great week
Yes,
it's sad that many blogs seem dead.
I think it's been a year since I started blogging and I really like it.
I imagine, as mentioned, you will be happy when you see bloggers continuing like you.
Children grow up so fast!!
I like your photos, they radiate a warmth!
Be well and have a great time.
